"Prince Lotor," Allura walked over as she saw the crowd of men leaving and Ezor talking to lance happily while Lotor watched the two interact.

"Princess," Lotor nodded formally.

"There's much to discuss before the speech of tonight's alliance," Allura told him calmly as lance held onto Ezor a little to walk to them.

"Of course princess, Ezor go collect the others, remember your orders, do not start a fight and do not finish one, if the citizens get rough again just walk away," Lotor told his general calmly.

"But what if they attack?" She asked quietly.

"You come find me, do not strike... make sure that gets to Zethrid especially..." Lotors said flatly for the last part and Ezor smirked.

"That may be harder but okay sir," she sighed walking away as lance stood there.

"Mind if I tag along?" Lance gulped walking forward as he hoped he'd be able to use someone as a guide.

"Of course lance, this is a team meeting along with Prince Lotor," Allura smiled taking his hand gently to hold onto her forearm to lead him back.

Oh so now I'm apart of the team. Lance thought to himself as he remembered the meeting before they didn't bother to ask him for.

——

"How do we know if your telling the truth? Like for real?" Hunk asked suspiciously as they all stood in the control deck with Lotor.

"I assure you all, I give my word," Lotor told them confidently.

"What makes you so different than every galra we've met?" Keith glared a little.

"Every galra? Red paladin I know of you being half galra, what makes you worthy of trust unlike I?" Lotor narrowed his eyes.

"I wasn't born as zarkons son," Keith snarled.

"The way I was raised was very different than you paladin, but it also proves my beliefs to change the galra, if someone to vial as zarkon can have a son that wishes for peace, why can he not use his birthrights to make a wish become reality?" Lotor asked calmly to all Paladins.

Lance stayed silent as he just listened to what Lotor had to say, he was serious it seemed. He listened to make sure there was no stutter, no wave of a different tone that could prove Lotor wrong that he would be lying. Lance didn't trust him as a galra prince, there were chances of betrayal due to the experiences they've all had with the galra, they where the reason lance was blind anyways... but Lotor as a person, he met him as a person not a heir to the throne of a violence race, so he would listen to give him a chance. But he seemed to be doing everything right.

"What would we gain of this alliance?" Shiro asked suddenly.

"What would you like?" Lotor asked.

They all looked around at each other confused that Lotor was willing.

"To have access to the galra system, star charts," Shiro nodded.

"Consider it done," Lotor nodded.

"Do we have an alliance then Princess?" He smirked at her. Allura frowned for a moment.

"An alliance and trust come separately, but for the sake of the universe, we have an alliance," Allura nodded and their hands shook.

"That's relieving to hear, the Rotazik planet will be marked freed to my system... as long as the people agree to stop harassing my generals," Lotor told them seriously and the Paladins raised an eye brow.

"We can't control them," Pidge frowned.

"I can only control my generals for the most part, but they have been threatened already, the promise to not start the fight but they may defend themselves as the rota people may find that as a threat of a fight," Lotor explained.

"We will announce it first thing at the dinner celebration tonight, but they feel threatened due to you being the empire that did have them enslaved for centuries..." Allura closed her eyes with a sigh.

"I will," Lotor nodded.

"Then it's settled," he smiled a little. "I'm glad we came to an agreement, as my father lays on his death bed there will be more conflict within the galra but if fortunately zarkon takes his last breath then I will have full control of the galra,"

"We'll take what we can get," lance said finally with a small smile as this went much smoother than it could've gone.

"You say zarkon is still on his death bed... what are the chances he lives?" Shiro asked with a stern yet concerned look.

"At this point I cannot tell, he isn't stable but there's no telling when his death will be, Hagar refuses to let anyone enter his room otherwise I would've ended my father first chance," Lotor crossed his arms and everyone stiffened. He was willing to kill his own father, they didn't know what the twos history was, if zarkon ever acted like his father or not... no one could know how the galra treated a child as Lotor must've grown up alone.

"Another question, how did you know  galra?" Keith asked with a dark glare.

"You think the spy's in my empire go unnoticed? I'm the one that cleans up their trails before the Druids find them," Lotor smirked softly and lances eyes widen.

"Kolivan was the one who taught me as a boy to fight with pride than die with no dignity," Lotor chuckled seeing the shock on his face. "He was a commander at a time,"

"You an-and Kolivan, your a..." Keith trailed off with wide eyes.

"I do not have my blade of Marmora with me as it was to much of a risk for someone to find out," he explained to them calmly.

"So, I will go get my generals and tonight you will celebrate not only the freedom of the planet but as well the alliance between Voltron and the galra empire, those who fight against us will suffer," Lotor said confidently and left the castle leaving them all.

"He doesn't really mean suffer suffer right?" Hunk asked wide eyes.
