"Lance!" He heard someone yell as he and the galra soldier walked to the town of the rota people and the castle was in view behind it.

"Lance where have you been?!" Keith ran up but froze seeing the galra Lance was being guided by.

"I was just taking a walk, I kinda got lost," Lance bit his lip and Keith looked at the galra with anger.

"Get away from him," Keith grabbed lance and pushed him behind so he was between the two. The galra resisted to bring lance back not exactly knowing who this paladin was to the man he found in the woods but the way lances warmth left him made the galra shiver in discomfort as he frowned.

"I assure you paladin that I seek no harm to your friend," the galra told him calmly collecting himself.

"Prince Lotor," Allura walked over with the rest of her Paladins and lances eyes widen.

"Glad to finally meet you in the flesh princess," Lotor told her with his hands behind his back formally.

"Your early," she glared.

"It's only me and my generals that landed, you where quite unclear of timing rather than tonight," Lotor told her unamused. Lance frowned as he pulled away from Keiths grip. This was a whole new voice of Lotors than before when it was kinder than now it was more stern and sharp, probably to show more intelligence or something.

"I will introduce them tonight as they are attending important matters, but may you introduce your Paladins to me?" Lotor asked as they all where in casual clothes for now until later where they'd dress more formal in armor.

"This is my black paladin and the head of Voltron, Shiro," Allura motioned to him and Shiro glared.

"Champion," Lotor held out his hand for him but Shiro crosses his arms.

"Shiro," he said harshly, hating that name.

"The red paladin Keith," Allura sighed motioning to Keith as he glared as well with lance next to him.

"Green paladin Pidge and yellow paladin hunk,"

Hunk waved softly as Pidge cocked her head to the side adjusting her glasses.

"You don't look like other galra," Pidge stated and Lotor raised an eye brow.

"Observant," he said flatly and Pidge made a face.

"And lance, the paladin of the blue lion," Allura motioned to lance as he had his arms crossed as well, he didn't do it to be more intimidating, he rather not be there at all.

"Your a paladin of Voltron?" Lotor looked at him impressed.

"Told ya, blind for 24 hours... shit happens I guess," lance tried to joke, everyone gave him a sad look but he heard Lotor laugh softly at the joke.

"Quite an expression that summarizes tragedies well," Lotor nodded and lance smiled at the fact it wasn't pity from Lotor.

"You should go rest lance," hunk said gently and lance frowned slightly hurt as all they do is let him sleep.

"No I'm apart of this team, I have to be here," Lance swallowed a lump in his throat.

"Lance your exhausted, go rest a little longer," Allura said more sternly and lance narrowed his eyes.

"If you want to get me out of the way I get it, don't sugar coat it next time," lance tore himself away from the group but Lotor saw Luna jumping on his shoulder as she was aggressively pointing at lance.

"Paladin," Lotor moves forward to lance and held the small mouse out for him.

"Your mouse seems to be quite the little adventurer," Lotor said quickly as Luna jumped from his hand onto lance as he blinked surprised at the mouse.

"Thanks man," he mumbled and touched the mouse softly.

"I'll see you at the dinner tonight," Lotor nodded.

"Well I guess one of us will see the other," Lance smirked shrugging and Lotor covered his mouth at the joke as he coughed to hide his laugh.

"I'll meet you there then, little soldier," Lotor smirked and walked back.

Lance laughed softly knowing he got the cold hearted galra to laugh at his jokes despite them being darker, hey everyone has a type of humor they find amusing. Maybe Lotors is taking your disability and using it as a punch line.

Lance shook his head at how horrible the jokes really where but walked into the castle as his hand came back up to be able to walk himself as Luna helped here and there.

Lance didn't go to bed though, he went to the blue lion... he needed someone he knew he could trust at the moment. And a mouse just squeaking at him wasn't enough for now.
