"How was dancing with the prince?" Hunk teased as he went into lances room at the end of the night smirking.
"You saw that?" Lance asked wide eyes.
"We all saw," Pidge followed smiling with her arms crossed.
"Oh my god," lance put his face in his hands with a groan. "There's nothing to make fun of me for! It's just an alliance," he pointed at the quickly.
"Is that why you where being spun by him all night long~" Pidge teased but dodged a pillow being thrown as lance tried to hit her from where it sounded she was.
"No! He was giving me advice," Lance huffed.
"On fancy footwork?" Hunk chuckled.
"Yea you really seem to go for the hot royalty out of your league," Pidge snorted and lances face fell.
"He was telling me about accepting my disability," Lance mumbled quieter and the two stopped for a moment on the teasing.
"Um like his general, she's blind too, and mute," Lance explained awkwardly as the tension rose. "But she has more abilities like seeing through people she touches eyes,"
"Yea, did you notice none of the generals where actually full galra? And all girls," Pidge beamed brightly.
"Really? I thought that big one was a guy and basically full galra," hunk snorted. "Ezor was nice, she asked me for help to get the recipe for the cookies,"
"She said thanks to you lance for mentioning me," hunk smiled at at his friend and lance smiled a little back.
"She was really excited," lance shrugged. "They're allies now, gotta be nice,"
"Shiro seems pissed still about it all, Allura just is dealing with it for the alliances sake," Pidge shrugged as the three hung out.
"Whatever works, let's just hope Shiro cooperates," lance nodded with a small smile of hope.
"Hey um... I heard you guys talking before the alliance," he frowned. "And about me seeing again,"
Pidge and hunk looked at each other sadly and hunk touched lances knee gently.
"We will make something that'll help you lance," hunk promised and lance nodded closing his eyes.
"For now we don't have the resources really, even altean technology, we wouldn't be able to even build Shiro a new arm if it came to that," Pidge explained a little and Lance pursed his lips pulling his legs close.
I'm sure if it came to me seeing again and Shiro having a prosthetic, you'd waste no time to find a way...
"It's okay guys," he sighed. "We have galra technology so it's nothing to rush on either, I'm sure if you convince Allura to talk to Prince Lotor, they can try something,"
"You really want to trust the galra with seeing again?" Hunk asked.
"Well not like we have to many options," lance mumbled a little and the two looked at each other again.
"It's not alluras fault lance... we're doing everything we can," Pidge offered a smile but lance just looked tired.
"I don't blame anyone, don't worry about it, there's bigger issues than this, there's still a war I think," lance shrugged and yawned softly.
Suddenly the alarms went off and they all jumped at the sudden noise, especially lance as he covered his ears.
"Lance come on we have to go," Hunk told him gently and lances heart sped up.
What can I do even?
Lance got off the bed and touched the walls quickly as he tried to follow the sound of footsteps of the others but the alarms where to loud and everyone was use to just running to the control room like good Paladins. But he felt lost in the darkness around him.
"Guys!" Lance screamed but he kept walking, not knowing which way was right.
"Guys!"
——
"Where's Lance?" Keith looked at them confused as pidge and hunk walked in.
"He's right behind us," hunk looked back. Lotor walked in with his generals behind him as he saw the alarms.
"Do you recognize the attacker? It says galra," Allura asked ignoring the fact she was missing a paladin.
"Must be a war lord, many disgrace me as my bloodline will only go for so far, the galra seek power as honor," Lotor sighed crossing his arms. "They rebel against me such as our alliance, please princess, let us handle this,"
Allura looked at them for a moment with a narrowed look.
"If it gets to much then we'll ask for your help," Allura told them and Lotor nodded.
"Paladins get to your lions," she commanded and they all ran off to their hangers.
"And the blue paladin?" Lotor asked frowning. Allura looked around confused.
"Lance... I know he may be getting use to things but he still has a job," Allura sighed crossing her arms.
"With all respect princess but that paladin has lost more than a simple limb that can be replaced," Lotor frowned and walked out of the control room as he went to go find the paladin.
Allura gasped holding the side of her head and heard a roar echoing. She looked at the panel where the blue paladin sat as she felt a energy pulling her in. She pursed her lips softly and walked towards it, knitting her eye brows together.
