"Murdoc!" Noodle yelled, attempting to sound hurt so the bassist would show up. As if he were a psychic, the green-skinned man ran in, panting. "What...what's wrong?" he asked and she gave him a folded up piece of paper with Murdoc's name on it. "What's this?" he questioned, unfolding it.

Muds, if you're reading this, it means that Noodle did her job. If you couldn't guess who this is, think harder. Who's the only one who would do this?

Murdoc smiled. It was obvious who'd written the note.

I spent a week on this with Noodle's help, and I've told her not to spoil it. If she spoils it, I'll never speak to her again.

Anyways, I'm having you go on a scavenger hunt. First, you'll be going into the kitchen. There's a note hidden in a not-so-obvious spot. It has directions for your next clue.

Murdoc walked into the kitchen, frowning.Where the hell would 2D hide a piece of fucking paper? he thought to himself as he began to search in jars, in the refrigerator, in cabinets, in the microwave, in the oven, in drawers - nothing. Noodle skipped in, grinning. "You know, I'm allowed to help you look - but I was told only to help. No hints," she said, adjusting her t-shirt. The bassist nodded and the two searched, looking in the same spots that had been checked, but looking through every nook and cranny until Murdoc gasped, pulling out a folded piece of paper. "A-ha!" he exclaimed, waving it in the air.

Noodle smiled, motioning for him to open it. The paper was unfolded and Murdoc was greeted with a huge smiley face.Well done Muds! You found the next piece of paper in the scavenger hunt. Now, onto my bedroom. There's also a riddle involved, how creative is that?

What's red, is now blue

What's old, is now new

I'm hidden in a drawer

But Murdoc swore

I was gone

Murdoc frowned and began rummaging through many drawers - he knew exactly what was mentioned; 2D's painkillers. At least they made 2D a more likeable person. Noodle had followed and also looked through drawers, avoiding the top drawer of his nightstand and dresser, afraid of what was hidden in those drawers.

"Found 'em," she said, tossing them to Murdoc, who opened the orange container and pulled out a rolled up piece of paper and began reading.

You'll need the car for this - Russel brought it back for this specific reason. You'll need to go to the bakery closest to the house. Ask the lady at the till for a 'chocolate walnut pastry with cream filling'. She'll know what you're talking about. You get a free pastry out of this. Make sure to say your name or else you won't get the right bag.

Good luck! - 2D.

P.S. I'm sorry for not saying anything about the painkillers. I'll make it up to you. I promise.

Murdoc smiled and stuck the note in the pocket of his black jeans. "I'm coming with you, but only for this. I'll get Russel to pick me up from the bakery. I want a chocolate chip muffin," Noodle said and they walked out to the red Camaro, Murdoc in the driver's seat and Noodle in the passenger seat. He started the engine and drove to the bakery, humming as he drove, finding himself excited for whatever 2D had planned.

He stopped in front of the bakery and they got out, walking in and up to the till. "Pickup for Murdoc Niccals," Noodle said. The lady squinted. "Which one of you is Murdoc?" she asked and Murdoc walked forward. "I'm Murdoc," he said and was handed a brown paper bag. Noodle began to order and Murdoc opened the bag, looking inside. He saw a piece of paper, along with a pastry, and smiled. That was probably the most he'd smiled in a day, not like he was complaining.

He pulled both out and took a small bite of the pastry as he unfolded the note.

Finally, it's time.

Stay there until Russel picks Noodle up, then you'll be heading to the park, more specifically the spot we always go. There, you'll find a surprise _

Love, Stu

Almost immediately, Russel walked into the bakery. "Hello Muds," he said and Murdoc waved. He and Noodle left, leaving Murdoc alone. He too left the bakery and got in the car, starting it up and driving to the park. The sun was setting just as he got there. Hopefully this was part of 2D's plan. He got out, bringing the bag with him and locking the car, and began walking through the park until arriving at a path cleared by nature. This was the route which 2D spoke of.

Murdoc walked through until he saw lit candles along the path. He gasped - this made everything look so nice and welcoming. He continued to walk until coming up to a clearing where he saw Stuart, who was lying down on a large checked blanket, a basket next to him and his iPad playing soft music. The scene drew Murdoc in, making him feel almost as iif he was floating.

2D looked over at him and grinned, sitting up. "How do you like it? This took me ages to plan," he said and Murdoc smiled. "It's perfect," he breathed, sitting down next to Stuart. "I love you," 2D said, kissing the shorter man on the cheek, laughing as his cheeks flushed. "You still do that, even after almost three years," the bluenette said as he was pulled into a kiss. He melted into it, his eyes falling closed. He smiled once he was able to, but then frowned.

"About the painkillers..." he began, but Murdoc shushed him. "You don't have to say anything. I understand that you need them. I just don't know why you didn't tell me," he said and 2D sighed. "I didn't want them taken away again. I don't need them as much as I used to, but it's always nice to have some just in case. But don't worry, I'm not gonna overdose on them," he said and opened the basket.

2D handed Murdoc a sandwich and pulled out a small bottle of champagne, along with two glasses. "Happy Valentine's Day, Muds," he said after pouring the drink into each glass, and they clinked glasses. "Happy Valentine's Day, Stu."
