Basically an interview with 2D, but w some 2doc sprinkled in.

So, 2D, you are the lead singer of Gorillaz, which has become widely popular over the last year. What's it like?

Well, I find i's very... ente'tainin'. I like singin' an' playin' the piano.

Who's your favourite band member?

I 'ave t'say m'bes' mate Mu'doc.

Why is he your favourite?

Well, uh... we ge' along quite well ou' of the public eye.

I see. So, this is kind of a personal question, but is there a special lady or guy in your life at the moment? We don't judge.

Well, no' technically, bu' I'd say yes. M'no' givin' ou' a name though. Bu' i's a 'im if you're wonderin'.

What about the other two band members, Russel and Noodle. Do you get along with them?

Well, I guess. Noodle is only young an' doesn' speak English, bu' we ge' along. Russ an' I ge' along quite well.

Anything interesting happen when you guys are just at home and not doing shows or interviews?

Well, yeah. Even when we don' 'ave a show, we like t'practice. Mu'doc says it 'elps us ge' better. We also like t'play video games an' stuff. When Noodle an' Russ go t'bed, Mu'doc an' I will drink, smoke o' play music by ourselves.

Seems like you have a great relationship with Murdoc.

We do. If we didn' ge' along, m'no' sure we'd be able t'play music togever.

You have the nicest accent; I think it's quite cute.

Fanks, I guess. I don' really like i' m'self, bu' if other people like it, then okay.

Off the topic of your band mates and just Gorillaz in general, do you happen to have any hobbies?

I like playin' video games an' goin' ou'. I also like walkin' through Kong Studios an' talkin' t' the person I... the person I would actually die fo'. I's complica'ed.

Going along with a previous question, and you don't have to answer if you don't want to, but describe your significant other.

My significan' other? Oh, ya mean... Well, 'e's quite a nice person. We talk a lo', even when we figh'. We figh' quite a bi', bu' we always talk again no matter wha'. I love him a lo'. 'e makes me a much better person. 'e makes me so 'appy. I can' even explain i'. 'e's amazin'.

You seem to love this man a lot. Tell me: What would you do if you lost him?

Wha' kinda fuckin' question is tha'? Are ya insane? I'd be fuckin' miserable.

Sorry. Change of subject but aside from your significant other and your band mates, who do you feel likeyou could always go to if you have a problem.

Well, nobody. I don' speak t'my paren's anymore after they found ou' who I was datin'. They don' like who i' is. So all I 'ave lef' is the band an' the person I love. No one else cares.

Do you think you'd ever reveal who you're with?

Tha's a bi' of a person question, bu' I feel tha' if 'e an' I are ever ready, then we migh'.
