Shay had driven to Devin's apartment that she shared with three other people, all of whom looked highly suspicious. Shay was greeted by them like an old friend, immediately being handed a beer and a cigarette. This action shocked Marley, as she had never seen Shay so comfortable around these kinds of people, and she had never thought Devin would be this comfortable letting Shay do these things. Awkwardly, Marley cleared her throat, catching the attention of one of Devin's friends.
"Shay, who's the chick?" One woman asked, smirking at her whilst taking a drag of her cigarette. Shay rolled her eyes, almost annoyed that Marley was there.
"My room mate's adopted kid. Couldn't leave without her. Marley, do you want a beer?" Shay asked, and when Marley declined she laughed. "Maybe you should go home Marley?" Devin suggested, making Shay nod in agreement.
"But Shay drove me here?" Marley said, confused.
"Let me finish my beer and I'll drive you anywhere you want to go." The woman who had smirked at her earlier slurred, taking a gulp of another beer. Marley shook her head.
"No, it's okay. I'll walk. Shay, is Molly's or home closer?" She asked, confused of her current location.
"Molly's is about 3 miles that way," she said, pointing in a direction, "and home is about the same but the other way."

Marley left the apartment quickly and slammed the door shut. The neighborhood was very suspicious and it was dark outside. Sighing, she pulled our her phone so she could call someone to come pick her up, only to be disappointed when she saw she had no service on her phone. Groaning, she decided they'd likely be someone at Molly's when she arrived rather than home, and she didn't have a key to get in regardless, so she headed in the direction of the bar.

She had walked uninterrupted for around twenty minutes when she heard people talking loudly. Looking up, she saw Elliott and Cleo, followed by a group of older looking men, all laughing and joking. She gulped nervously, hoping they wouldn't recognise her. But to no avail.
"Is that... THAT'S THE BITCH WHO BROKE MY NOSE!" Cleo yelled, and soon enough the large group of men were chasing her. They were quicker than she was and threw her to the floor. Cleo followed close behind and punched Marley in the face before stamping on her ribs, hard, and strutting off. The men released her slowly, except for one, who stared her in the eyes and raised a fist to her mouth.
"That's for hurting my sister, you do it again and you're dead."

Wiping her lip as she walked, she mentally cursed Shay for putting her in that situation, but she was relieved when she saw the lights of Molly's still on and the sound of people still in there. As she approached the door, she saw Clarke stood outside the door, on the phone to someone. He hung up when he saw her and frowned.
"I thought you had gone home? What happened to your face?!"
"I thought I was going home too, but Shay wanted to be with Devin and her friends. And I was walking here and bumped into the girl I had punched and she was with friends. They don't let things like that be forgotten about." She shrugged.
"They beat you?! And Shay let that happen? Why didn't you call someone?!" Clarke asked, growing angry with Shay more than Marley.
"Yeah, but I deserved it. I did punch her. And my phone has no service. It's fine Clarke, I've had worse." She tried to lighten the mood, but he just shook his head and pulled her inside.

Kelly was stood at the bar with Capp, Casey, Gabby and Clarke when Clarke went out for a phonecall. When he came back in, Capp was the first to notice he was pulling someone behind him.
"Kelly, isn't that..." he trailed off when he saw Marley's face. She was cringing, as slowly everyone had become quiet and looking at the teenagers face. Kelly stormed over to her, and grabbed her face in his hands.
"Who the hell did this to you? I thought you were going home with Shay!"
"Severide, calm down." This voice startled Marley, as when she turned around Jay and Antonio were stood behind her.
"Were you mugged? Do you need to come with us?" Jay asked, considerably calmer than Kelly had.
"No! I wasn't mugged. I got in a fight at school today and broke a girls nose, and I was walking back from Devin's where Shay had taken us when I bumped into the girl and her group. I deserve this for what I did to her." Marley stated, before glancing at Herrman and adding "and before you say it, my phone had no service and I wasn't going borrowing Shay's phone when she was with Devin and her friends because it was uncomfortable."

Despite Jay and Antonio persisting, Marley declined to make a statement and soon enough she was sat at the bar in between Kelly and Joe. Herrman, who was behind the bar, handed her a glass of water and stayed nearby.
"Marls, you've really got to be careful out. You're lucky it was just that girl and her friends that you bumped into and noone else." Kelly stated firmly. Marley sighed.
"It was either me walk here or have Devin's friend who was high or drunk or both drive me home and I wouldn't have lived. I knew it was dangerous, but it was the safest option I had Kel." Kelly groaned, knowing she was right.
"I know what might cheer you up." He stated, pushing her softly. She chuckled and looked at him.
"What's that then?"
"You get to spend all week at work with me." Kelly grinned at her, knowing the early mornings would kill her. She groaned but smiled regardless.
"I love you Kel." She whispered, and he pulled her in for a hug.
"I love you too Marls. And I'm always here, okay? No matter what."
