Prompt: •The Fourth of July Special• The BAU team all get together a few days after The Fourth of July to celebrate. They launch fireworks, and hang out almost all night. Finally the reader and Spencer get some quality time besides being around the team 24/7 almost.

You smile at Garcia as she continues about the teams plan for The Fourth of July. You as well were excited, you couldn't remember the last time the team could just 'hang out' like family.

"The fireworks- oh, the fireworks! They're gonna be beautiful!" Garcia gushes you smile "I'm sure they will, now if you don't mind I'm going to go find an outfit to wear." You walk into your shared bedroom with your boyfriend Spencer as Garcia flips through your tv.

You find a white dress with lace and decide it would look cute. You get dressed and meet Garcia out in your living room "You look so pretty!" Spencer walks out of the kitchen "Why, thank you!" He smiles.

"Not you! Y/n!" Spencer looks at you smiling.

"Let's go!" Garcia grins dragging you out of the apartment.

Once you reach the location of the 'party' as Morgan calls it you notice the rest of the team talking "Y/n, made us late!" Garcia teases.

"I did not!" You sit next to Spencer as you join in on the conversation.

You guys laughed, talked, and even had a water balloon fight thanks to Morgan. Of course you would go up behind Spencer and break one over him, but the real catch is when Morgan dropped a bucket full of water down on the rest of the team.

Garcia of course gave him a big wet hug making everyone laugh. You finally sit down on a blanket with Spencer as Morgan and Hotch go to light some fireworks up. He glances over at you a couple times.

"Yes, Spence?" You ask he shrugs "When's the last time I actually got to spend time with you?" He questions "Everyday." You answer.

"Apart from the team?" You rest your head on his shoulder "At home." He chuckles.

"I'm glad we can agree on somethings." He wraps his arm around you as fireworks go off and the whole team watches in amazement.

Today was beautiful, you got to spend time with your friends and your family. You got to see Spencer with face paint on, JJ, Garcia, and Emily trying to get each other with water balloons, Hotch finally smile, Rossi get a little loose and stop calling people 'kid'. And Morgan was just classic badass Morgan, dumping water on the whole team.

You wish today would never end, but either way it was going to. The fireworks stream off together one after another as you look into the sky watching color fill the sky.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Spencer asks you nod.

"It's stunning." He smiles "I can think of something way more stunning." He kisses the top of your head making you smile.

Soon 12 am struck and you were asleep with your head on Spencer's shoulder. He lifted you up in his arms and said goodbye to the team "Cya later, lover boy." Ever since you and Spencer started dating that's what Morgan's been calling him- lover boy.

Spencer sits you in the passenger seat buckling your seatbelt. He heads over to the driver side and does the same to himself, he starts the ignition and drives off towards your shared apartment.

Once he gets there he pulls you out of the car and takes you upstairs to the apartment. He walks in quietly shutting the door and heads towards the bedroom, he pulls the sheets back and lays you down. He tucks you in before climbing in bed himself and pulling you closer.

"I love you, Spence." You whisper quietly.

"I love you too, Y/n."
