You sit on the jet talking the case over. Garcia had just called with more information on the case for you guys. Hotch looks around the jet naming off jobs.

You and your close friend Spencer got the task of going to check the crime scene out together. As soon as the jet lands that's where you guys take off to, Spencer was always helpful when you got this job together.

He helped piece things together, and he even did your paperwork once. But only once. You walk through the crime scene together talking it over "Ready to head back to the station?" Reid asked.

"Yeah, let's go." You both head back to one of the SUV's provided for the team heading back to the station.

"Hello you must be Y/n." A guy walks over obviously a officer, he extends his hand shaking yours.

"And you are?" You question not sure of his name "Right, my name is James Rogers." He informs you "And you're probably Spencer." James' enthusiasm falls a bit.

"Hello." Spencer stands at your side "Do you know where our team is?" You ask nicely noticing James shifting "Yeah, follow me." You follow him to the space you would currently be working in.

"There you guys are. Learn anything from the scene?" Spencer looks at you noticing James has just left stealing a few glances at you as he walked away.

"He cleaned up after the kill, and he's very sophisticated." You sit next to Morgan going over the case as Spencer quietly lurks in the background reading through the case, it seemed to be the only thing he could do.

You started to notice more throughout the day that James was flirting with you, more and more by the hour. He even offered to take you out, you couldn't deny he was a gorgeous guy.

Deep brown short hair, gorgeous light blue eyes, with a bright smile. He was gorgeous but you didn't really wanna just go on a date with anybody, you wanted to at least know the person.

As the day passed on James went back to being a law enforcement officer, and you went to your hotel making small talk with Morgan and Spencer. The day followed with even more flirting.

Soon you had nailed down an unsub, Spencer was boiling inside he couldn't stand it! That James officer always flirting with you, it made him mad- actually no it made him.... It made him jealous.

You walked out of the house after apprehending the unsub James was still trying to flirt with you.

"Can you back the hell up?" Spencer's voice sounded rough as you glance over at him while officer James stood in front of you.

"Excuse me?" Spencer walked over grabbing your wrist and pulling you over to him "I said; can you back the hell up?!" Spencer's voice could've broke ice into a million pieces.

"I'm sorry, but are you dating?" James asked.

"No, but either way she'd be better off with me then some prick like you!" Spencer drags you away from the officer and you yank your wrist away turning him towards you.

"What the hell was that, Spence?" You ask gently still very shocked.

"Nothing, it was nothing!" Spencer snaps still very upset from the whole scene, he froze when your arms wrapped around his torso.

"Thank you, anyway." You whisper he wrapped his arms around you in return "I'm sorry, I should've let you handle it." He sighs realizing how he had snapped before he should've.

"No it's fine, I'm glad you did." He pulled you off of him.

"Y/n, I love you. Like I seriously love you, you're an amazing person. That idiot just made me jealous, and I realized any guy could have you." Spencer releases his words openly.

"Yeah any guy could have me, but there is just one that I truly want." You look up at him "Right..." He mumbles "And it's you," Spencer looks at you.

"I love you too, Reid." You smile he leans down kissing you gently.
