Prompt: It's a rainy day outside and the reader gets stuck inside all day. Soon she finds herself on the couch with a new gaming buddy, or also known as her boyfriend Matthew Gray Gubler.

Message: I noticed most of my Matthew Gray images were the reader fighting him and I thought I needed to create this one. Plus I think it fits with Matthew.

You sit on the bay window watching the rain fall outside. You sigh and bite down on your nails slowly growing bored. You had already tried everything like sleeping, changing into one of Matthew's sweaters and leggings, cleaning the bedroom, going through social medias..... But nothing.

You walk into the living room seeing Matthew on the gaming system "What are you doing?" He asks glancing over at you "Being bored. What are you doing?" He smiles "Playing a game. Come here." You walk over to him and look down at him.

"What do you want? Because no offense but I'm not gonna do much for you." He grins pulling you down on the couch with him, you sat in between legs while he put his arms around you and continued playing the game. You laid your head back on his chest watching him play the game.

"I can help you, y'know that right?" He chuckles "Of course you can." He lets you guide him through the game and you successfully made it out of the 'badlands' his character was in "You actually made it." He sounded really shocked.

"Matthew!" You look back at him.

"I didn't know if you could.." He comments shyly you smile.

"Now you know I can kick your ass in a game." You lay your head back down and let him take the controller.

"Is that my sweater?" He asks suddenly realizing what you were wearing "Nope, it's Shemar's." You tease "Awe, how cute. But I prefer you in my clothing." You giggle "Yes you weirdo, it is your sweater... But too bad 'cause it's mine now mate." He grins.

"I like that, it looks good on you anyways." He comments.

For almost the rest of the day you stayed like that, playing a game and cuddling with Matthew. Sometime came around when you fell asleep on Matthew, he let you sleep on him before he fell asleep as well.

A few hours fly by before you stretch your arms out and realize where you are. The rain was still pouring down, and you crossed your arms in defeat "Hello beautiful." Matthew's voice sounded off behind you making you smile.

"Someone's up." You look back at him seeing his smile.

His arms wrap around you holding you close to him as he looks at you "Just to see you." He comments making you lightly blush.

"It's still raining." You pout he smiles at you.

"If it wasn't for the rain you wouldn't be in this position, Y/n." He points out you look at him before smiling "What?" He questions.

"Who said I wanna be here?" He chuckles "You have before." He answers you lay your head down hiding your face in his neck.

You laid there cuddling with him for a little while longer "I think we should go outside." Matthew offers you look at him "But it's raining." You point out making him smile again "That's the point, love." He gets both of you off the couch with ease before dragging you outside.

He pulled you towards him before hugging you tightly "But I was comfortable on the couch!" You whine hugging him back "So was I." Matthew walks through the rain messing around with the puddles on the ground.

"Matthew! I'm gonna kill you!" He laughs as he looks back at you with wet hair and rain running down soaking your clothes.

"Come on it's the new Gucci." Matthew teases "Smart ass." You walk over to him as he intertwines your fingers together taking your hand "I know I am. It's why I'm such a genius on tv." He smirks.

"It's a role, Matthew." He smiles.

"It's a role that I can pull off so well though." You look at him shaking your head.

"You're so lucky." You smile.

"I'm lucky I'm insanely adorable?" Matthew looks at you shyly.

"No." You shake your head.

"That I love you, idiot." You stand on your tippy toes planting a gentle kiss on his lips.

"That too." He grins.

"But I love you too."
