You stared at your best friend who just smiled at you, Tay was your life long best friend and nurse when you ended up hurt- even though she was a preschool teacher that preferred you'd stop being so snarky with criminals. You sighed and nodded "I understand but what if hypothetically that does happen then what-" you stop as your phone starts ringing making you scowl at it.
"Hello Y/l/n speaking." You answer.
"I understand, I can be there by-" you look at your wrist watch checking the time aimlessly "By tomorrow." You finish calculating the math in your head.
"Good day." You hang up and slide your phone on the table in front of you making Tay laugh "Where are you headed to now, Holmes?" She teases.
"I don't like that nickname, I'm not nearly as smart as him. But Florida, they have a case for me." She smiles brightly "Can I go? I've always wanted to go to Florida, I could be of use." She begs.
"Of course, you know you can always travel with me." You smile gathering your stuff as she does the same, since you both lived in the same apartment.
"I have just called off of work till we return." She grins "Oh my, perfect. Let's go." You headed to the airport and soon you were on a plane out to Florida from Quantico, Virginia.
Once you landed you headed to the police station, where the FBI BAU team was already "So who is Y/n Y/l/n?" JJ asks the sheriff who had informed them that he had invited you as well.
"A genius when it comes to this kind of stuff, hell she's like Sherlock Holmes." The sheriff chuckles "We already have a genius." Rossi informs him nodding to Reid "Well the more the merrier, you guys will love her." The sheriff grins.
"I'm telling you that you're wrong, that piece goes there then it goes there." You take the puzzle from the deputy and start moving the pieces around "What the hell are you some genius?" The team looked over and watched as you finished the puzzle in about one minute.
"Y/n Y/l/n, welcome to Florida." You looked up from the puzzle at the sheriff.
"Here." You push the completed puzzle into the deputy's hands before walking over to the sheriff "Sheriff Lyons." You greet nodding your head.
"Please meet the BAU team of the FBI." He steps aside letting you see the group of people.
"I'm agent Aaron Hotch, this agent David Rossi, JJ, Derek Morgan and Emily Prentiss. And this is Doctor Spencer Reid." A man greets making you nod "Y/n Y/l/n." You respond.
