It was your almost your 25th birthday, were you excited? Nope. Did anyone on the team besides Rossi know? Nope. Not even your boyfriend Dr. Spencer Reid. All they knew was it was in October, and the only person who knew the day was your father Rossi.

You were the least bit fazed when your birthday came around. Besides you were an adult now what is the point in you celebrating it if it was just another day where you got one year older? There was no point, you weren't a kid anymore. You didn't want anything for you birthday it's why no one but Rossi knew... But he had too he was your dad!

"Hey Y/n, what's wrong?" Spencer sits next to you handing you your coffee.

"What? Oh nothing, thank you Spence." He nods and smiles your way.

"Hey Reid, Y/n." Rossi sits across from you as the rest of the team files in for the new case you had received. You sit there and listen to the case while Spencer spills out facts about everything he knew that went with the case.

You get on the jet and continue talking to Spencer and Morgan on the side when you guys weren't talking about the case. You had gotten up to get coffee you were two hours away from the destination, Rossi joins your side and you look at him "Dad." You whisper.

"Your birthday is coming up, y'know." You glare over at him warning him to be quiet.

"Don't tell me the team doesn't know about that." He shakes his head and sighs once you look down with slight guilt.

"Not even lover boy?"

"Not even lover boy." You admit.

"What's going on with the coffee?" Hotch walks over curiously.

"Nothing, Rossi just likes it extra sweet sometimes." David Rossi teases you.

"Ha ha. Very funny. Enjoy the coffee." You walk back over to Spencer as he looks up and gives you a quick smile before heading back into his book. You loved your nerd.

The rest of the flight was enjoyable and seemed cozy, and chill. After getting off the jet you each headed off towards different directions of course your lovable boyfriend Dr. Spencer Reid was right by your side helping you.

The case was slowly blowing over into something much more by the time you looked at the calendar your birthday was just one day away. Hell you might as well consider yourself 25 now. Still no one even mentioned your birthday and you liked it like that.

Finally it was your birthday. Rossi was sitting with them finishing the case up while you were asleep in a quiet space "What's going on with Y/n? She seems more on edge." Hotch mentions Rossi looks up.

"Probably because her birthday is today, and she didn't expect anyone to do anything." As soon as the words left Rossi's mouth Reid's head had shot up and looked in his direction.

"Her birthday is today?" Spencer questioned Rossi stood frozen for a minute "Hell.. Yeah it is but she didn't want you guys knowing so no one would make a big deal about it." Rossi looks around the room.

"I'm sure we won't." Reid grabs some of the files and sits down reading intently.

"That wasn't odd?" JJ comments.

The rest of the afternoon the team seemed a little weird, and cautious around you. Reid was more kept to himself the rest of the afternoon as well, and was barely seen. Everyone was sitting around just talking about whatever was on their, Spencer had finally come back and as soon as you went to use the restroom he perked up.

"I have a surprise for Y/n, well for her birthday... A party?" Reid announces.

"Didn't I say not to?" Rossi raises his eyebrow.

"Maybe.. But it's her birthday and Hotch helped me." Reid points out.

Everyone looks at Hotch who shrugs.

You came out of the bathroom and someone put their hands over your eyes "It's me no worries, kitten." Morgan's voice had gotten you to calm down.

"What's going on?" You question "Surprise!" Spencer smiles brightly after Morgan removes his hands "Yay? I get to see my boyfriend, like I do every other day?" Reid's smile gets bigger.

"Well I gotta go do something but Morgan and the team are gonna take you out for dinner, I'll see you later." Spencer kisses your forehead, something he rarely did only when he was being sneaky.

"Reid?" You followed him in front of the team.

"Yeah?" He looks at you curiously.

"What are you planning?" Reid smiles and nods his head before leaving "Thanks, that really answered my question." You comment.

Soon the team bribed you into the car, and also surprised you when they said Hotch was picking the location.

Soon you rolled up to a nice looking building "Wow, this is nice. Why this place?" Then you saw Reid he was dressed really nice.

He stood still with his hands shoved in his pockets, his hair seemed slightly tamed and his smile showed he was nervous. You looked at Rossi and as soon as you looked back for Reid he was gone.... And so was Emily.

You walked inside the building and looked around it was decorated but didn't look too fancy.

You sit on a couch with Morgan and JJ, the others had wandered off. You were talking casually when you saw something big being rolled out. The others except Reid had joined you on the couch and in chairs talking.

It was a gift..... A big one actually... What?

It stopped right in front of you and you stared at it "Open it up, kiddo." You look at Rossi and stand up but before you could remove the top Reid popped out scaring you.

"Good job, you scared her on her birthday!" Morgan laughs.

"It's Halloween, and her birthday she deserves a good scare."

"How did you guys find out?! And do this without me knowing?!" Everyone pointed to Rossi.

"Hotch helped me plan it." Spencer pipes up.

"Rossi told us, Reid asked me for help, and I asked Morgan for help." Hotch says.

"Then I asked JJ for some female support." Morgan grins.

"And I asked Emily to help, and we included Garcia." JJ answers.

"I hate you guys sometimes." You smile looking down "I slipped up and told him, Reid really put everything together." You look at him and he smiles shyly.

"Thank you guys, but next you try to scare be careful 'cause I might punch you." Reid laughs with everyone before hugging you "I love you, Rossi."

Rossi looks up questioningly "I meant this Rossi!" Reid points to you.

"So, when are we changing that Reid?" JJ asks.

"Guys." You were smiling and looking behind you.

"Not for a while." Rossi points towards Reid.

"Okay!" Reid throws his hands up smiling.
