Prompt: The Reader and Spencer have a small addition to their family besides their pet. And the reader starts to notice how much alike Spencer is to their new little addition.

You heard small fast footsteps as your bedroom door burst open "Mommy! Mommy! He's after me." Your four year old son Alex runs into your room and hides under the blankets with you.

"Spencer!" You laugh holding your son closer to you "Here I am!" Spencer gets under the duvet with you and your son smiling. After you had your son Alex things seemed to be doing pretty well.

You had noticed how close Alex and Spencer had gotten after Alex could talk and walk. It didn't bother you that much, you were so happy Spencer was the father of your son. There were somethings you started to notice that reminded you so much of Spencer from Alex.

Alex would wake up in the morning and sit in a chair staring out the kitchen window trying to wake up, Spencer would be like that if it wasn't for his coffee. You also noticed those beautiful brown eyes from Spencer that had passed down to his son.

Alex was so much like Spencer at moments it would hard to tell anybody he wasn't Spencer's son, even if it was a lie. When Alex was an infant you would catch Spencer up in the middle of the night holding him and whispering wonderful thoughts to him.

Or Spencer would wake up with you when you woke up to Alex crying and you both rushed in. Once Spencer kept waking up and telling you to go back to sleep and you had enough and told him its your baby boy and he better get back in the bed or you'll shoot him.

Spencer was a great dad, and you were thankful for that. But sometimes Spencer was a handful as well as Alex, but you loved your boys no matter what they did or said. You look at Spencer shaking your head "No offense boys, but I kinda wanted to sleep today." Spencer grins.

"Can we help with that, Alex?" Spencer questions your son.

"Yeah! We can help mommy!" Alex got excited for a minute making you smile.

"If you sleep, maybe." Alex cuddles up to you closing his eyes.

He opens his little brown eyes looking at you pouting "Mommy! Daddy! Go to sleep!" Alex complains making you and Spencer smile "Alright night boys!" You stick your tongue out Spencer pulls both of you towards him and cuddles you guys.

You started to drift off to sleep when Alex shifted in his sleep "I love both of you very much." Spencer whispers softly.

"I love you mommy, daddy..." Alex whispers drifting to sleep.

"I love you boys." You mumble nuzzling up to your husband and holding your son close to you.
