Excuse any mistakes..

Seattle, Washington
Later that night

Rayne walked into the family dining room, noticing that Senaya was seated at the table. She immediately paused, looking around the room for any cameras.

"Am I being punk'd??"

Brennan walked in with plates as he got ready to set the table. He looked at Rayne, who had a dumbfounded look on her face. She looked between Senaya and Brennan, wondering what the hell was going on.

"I found her and I invited her to dinner." Brennan said, unfazed by Rayne's expression. He said it like it was okay.

"You could've warned us, Daddy." Rayne replied, sitting her purse on the table. "That you invited a stranger." She said it loud enough for Senaya to hear.

"Disrespect towards your mother will not be allowed, Elise." Brennan looked at her. Sophie walked in with a pan of banana pudding.

"Hey Rayne." She greeted her happily, placing a kiss on her cheek.

"Hey Sophie." Rayne smiled at her.

"I made your favorite. I figured you would want some more of that banana pudding again." Sophie nudged her causing Rayne to chuckle.

"Mhmm, it was really good. I think you put your foot in it last time."

"Banana pudding is still your favorite, huh?" Senaya jumped in the conversation causing Rayne to glare in her direction.

"Stay over there. Please do not talk to me." Rayne blinked.

"Elise." Brennan said in a warning tone.

"I'm trying to help us both. I can't disrespect her verbally if she doesn't talk to me." She flashed a fake smile. "If she open her mouth, that's on her."

"Anyway, where is that husband of yours?" Sophie changed the topic.

"He didn't answer when I called. I texted him earlier and told him about the dinner. He said that he would be here." Rayne looked at her.

Zeke walked into the dining room, doing a double take. He shook his head when he noticed Senaya at the table. He immediately walked right back out.

"Zeke." Sophie called after him as she followed him out.

"See? A warning would have sufficed." Rayne looked at her father.

Brennan sighed. "He would have never showed up if I had told him." He turned to Senaya with an apologetic expression.

"I don't blame them. Plus, I showed up to his penthouse high one late night." She explained.

"I'm still waiting for you to try that with me." Rayne took a seat on the opposite of where Senaya was sitting. "He said you slapped him."

"I was high Ray."

Rayne shook her head. "You don't get to call me that anymore."
