Star Flanders was almost 18. She lived in the city with her drunk of a mother in a very small run down appartment. She never knew her father, and from what her mother had told her when she was not drunk, she gathered that he really was not worth seeing anyway.
It was her last year in High School, and she could not wait to get out of it. She was bullied everyday pretty much nonstop. Star never knew why everyone hated her so much. She never really talked and always kept to herself.
She was a self-harmer, and thought she was absolutely nothing in life. That no one really wanted her, but she held on for so long because for some reason in her gut she felt like she was supposed to do something in her life, and she wanted to find out what that was.
