Chapter 13

The next morning Star woke up. It was late in the morning, around 10 or so.

She sat up slowly , but Jamie was still woke up by the movement. 

"Hey,"  he whispered blinking his eyes.

Star turned and smiled at him," Hi."

Jamie smiled and laughed softly. He wrapped his arm around Star's torso and pulled her back down onto the mattress.

He climbed on top of her so she would not be able to get back up.

Star was laughing and smiling brightly. As was Jamie.

He leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips.

Then there was a loud bang on the door," Star, get your ass up!"

It was her mother.

Star sighed and looked at Jamie.

"Star, I saw what happened last night. It pains me to know that you have to go through this," Jamie said worriedly getting off of her, and putting his shirt back over his head. It was a black shirt so the blood that was on it from the night before was not seen.

Star sat up striaght," She was just drunk last night, I'll be fine, Jamie."

"That's not an excuse and you know it, Star," Jamie said quietly so her mother would not hear them talking.

"Jamie, I'm really not in the mood to talk about this today, okay?"

Star stood up and walked over to him.

"Star, you don't deserve this treatment!" Jamie said wrapping his arms around her.

"Jamie, I'll be fine, honest. I'll meet you at the usual time in the alley, okay?"

Jamie sighed and nodded.

He walked over to the window, but before he went out, he remembered something.

"Oh, Star, I've got something specail to give to you today," Jamie was grinning.

"Oh, really? What is that?" Star said grinning too.

"It's a surprise," Jamie said laughing and climbing out the window before Star could ask anymore questions. This made her laugh and shake her head grinning.
