Andy closed the door behind them, and they sat on one of the bunks. He looked at Star. Her eyes were watery. He could tell she was trying to hide her face from his veiw, so he would not see her cry, but he was tall so it did not work as well with him as it would with others.
He hugged her," Are you okay, Star?"
She was still for a while, then shook her head. She felt like she did not have to lie with Andy. Even if she did she knew that he would be able to tell, so she did not even try.
She cries in his chest. She had not cried in a long while. For some reason her emotions thought this was a good time to explode, and right in front of her hero in life.
Andy rubbed her back, listened to her soft sobs.
He knew Star had been through a rough life just by looking at her.
There was a large bump from the bus, and Star fell to the floor due to loss of balance.
Andy tried to stop her from falling, and caught her arm.
As he did this, the sleeve of the shirt she was wearing came half way up her arm. That is when Andy saw...
