Chapter 55

Star entered the dark bunk area, and saw the light bleeding through the cracks of the door of the bathroom. 

She walked over to the bathroom door, and knocked softly," Andy?"

Andy opened up the door, and looked at her. He could not bring himself to return her smile.

"Are you okay?" she asked.

Andy nodded," Oh yeah..." He with all his strength provided Star with a weak smile. He was trying to stay strong. Strong for himself. Strong for her.

"Well... um.. Jamie wants to go out to some kind of party near here tonight and asked me to go with..." 

Andy nodded," Is he going to take you home afterward?" 

Star nodded," Yeah...he wants me to go home with him..." 

Andy nodded saddeneedly looking to the ground.

This broke Star's heart," I'm sorry, Andy." 

He shook his head looking back to her." No. Don't be. I understand," he lied.

Star sighed," Thank you, Andy. For everything." 

Andy gave for a weak half smile," Anytime, Star." 

Star tried to smile bigger this time, but it was not really working out for her. She walked to him, and hugged him tightly," I'm gonna miss you." She was on the verge of tears. Andy was not far behind.

Andy pulled away and put a hand on each of her shoulders holding her arms length away." Don't worry," he smiled," we'll see each other again someday. I just know it." He was fixing to start crying. He knew if he said another word that his voice would start cracking.

Star smiled at him, and her eyes filled with tears.

"Plus, you've got my number, right?" Andy asked.

She nodded.

"Call me at anytime. I don't care if I'm in the middle of a show with 10,000 people there, we WILL stop everything just so I can talk to you," Andy said trying to brighten up the sad moment.

Star laughed," Thank you, Andy." 

Star and Andy said their good-byes. She left the room, and went to tell the others bye. Andy went back into the bathroom after she left. He wanted to be alone.
