"Oh my god, I'm so stupid!" Ellie pounded her head repeatedly with her fists as she paced around her room with Hori groaning like a dying whale. She was exhausted and now both her friend's were missing with no clue as to where they were.
Ellie and Hori both had been almost puking the butterflies out of their stomachs ever since Ellie confessed that she knew the actual truth about the gang that captured Fiu and Yana, bts or formerly known as the Bangtan Boys. The story was so confusing to Hori and now her head was in pain. Just about an hour ago Chief Choi and Mr. Coltsman failed in bringing the captives back when they were so close to getting their hands on the two.
"Why are you stupid now?" Hori eyed her.
"I should never have opened my mouth!" Ellie clutched at her hair and fell down face first onto her mattress.
Hori furrowed her eyebrows. "Why? Isn't it a good thing?"
Ellie sat up and shook her head. "No it's not! Don't you remember what Yana informed us? They know everything happening around their victims! They're onto us now!"
"Stop being silly! They can't possibly get to us." Hori retorted, not wanting to believe it.
"Oh god, I'm scared shitless right now...." Ellie breathed, rubbing her face. Her hair stuck to her neck with sweat and her clothes felt suffocating.
"You said your brother is with them right?" Hori asked hopefully. "He won't do that to you."
"No but the others would." Ellie sniffled and looked at her friend. "You can't tell anyone about this, they'll try to take information out of me."
Suddenly both of their heads snapped towards the sound of feet running across Ellie's bedroom and Mr. Coltsman's voice shouting out things you should not say in front of children. Eyes wide and mouth hanging open, both girls bolted towards the door and yanked it open. Making sure Daniel didn't see them sneaking behind him as he went to his office, frustration clear in each step he took.
Ellie and Hori crouched low and peeked past his door after he went in, too distracted to close the door as he opened his laptop violently and and shouted out the name both girls had been wanting to hear and see for a long few days.
"Sungyeon!"
Ellie gasped and Hori put her hand on her mouth, eyes wide at what she heard. Ellie turned to her. "He's talking to her!" She mouthed with a smile.
"Shh." Hori put her finger against her mouth gently and tried to calm Ellie down.
"You son of a *****!" They heard and both of them flinched, not used to the type of cursing.
They heard someone talking and frowned, pressing their ears against the door more firmly. Both girls heard more cursing and Sungyeon's voice and they restrained themselves into walking straight into the office and screaming and crying. Then Ellie heard the voice of both the people that were capable of bringing tears to her eyes other than her friends that were captured.
She raised trembling fingers to her lips and felt moisture in her eyes. "Oh my god...."
Hori rubbed her shoulders, trying to provide comfort. "Stop, stop, stop..."
Ellie's throat was completely closed by the lump forming and she was trying very hard not to start crying. They sounded so emotionless, without a heart and completely devoid of sympathy, not like how she remembered them.
Ellie flung back away from the door when she heard her friend screaming out in pain, her voice like a siren's, giving them both a clear definition of another bone chilling nightmare that will stay in their minds forever.
