"This is it, this is how it all ends, I'm gonna rot away in this chair and no one is going to give me a proper burial because they'd be grossed out to touch me." I groaned with my hands clutching my stomach and my head resting on the cafeteria table.
"What's wrong with you? You've been moody all day." Ellie complained.
"Isn't it obvious?" I glared at her. "Mother nature decided to give me a visit along with a few painful, very painful cramps and now I can't move otherwise I'm in tremendous pain."
Ellie clicked her tongue. "That's half the truth, you've never been the extreme one out of three of us."
"Yeah, it's you." I smiled at her sarcastically.
For the first time Hori spoke and I wished she hadn't. "She's got the Stockholm Syndrome."
"No!" I cried.
Ellie widened her eyes in realization. "Ahhh! Now I get it."
"Whatever you guys are thinking, dismiss it." I commanded. Even though the truth was staring at me dead straight in the eyes, I wanted to refuse to look at it. I wasn't moody because I hadn't seen Taehyung for about a week but I wasn't so sure with my decision about that lately. So I decided to give in and just accept it.
"Okay fine, I guess I do want to see him. Just a tiny glimpse." I admitted and opened my eyes to see the smug expressions on both of my friend's faces. I pointed a finger at them warningly. "Don't you dare let me hear this my whole life, it was bad enough admitting it."
"I won't do that, I just wanted to say HAH! I was right about the syndrome thing." Hori winked at me and chewed a fry. Ellie rolled her eyes and looked to her right where 'Jae Juijin aka Jimin' and 'Song Kihui aka Yoongi' sat. They were not touching their food, just staring at their phones and speaking quietly with each other while throwing a cautious look at our table occasionally.
"I wonder what they're up to this time." I murmured.
"Whatever it is, I'm hoping it ends soon." Ellie sighed.
Hori shook her head. "Oh I don't think anything's ending soon. They haven't made a single move for one week and it's making me restless."
I frowned. "Why's that?"
"According to Yana and her smartie-nerd calculations, the boys always takes time completing huge tasks. No wonder they managed to take down huge scumbags without a single trace of the incident left. They plan." Ellie answered, forcing down some of her cheeseburger.
I let out a breath. "Daniel is not even home these days, he barely looks at me and yet he wants me to stay in the house most of the time."
Hori's eyebrow rose. "You call your dad by his name?"
I shrugged, acting nonchalant while actually I felt like letting all of the frustrations out. "I ain't calling a killer 'dad' while he has the potential to even kill me if he has to."
Ellie put a hand over mine and I squeezed it back. Yes, I had thrown a crying fit about the issue and everything but I willed my tears to stop, he wasn't worth the trouble.
Hori dropped her spoon. "You know what's really weird here?"
Ellie and I glanced towards her. "What?" I inquired.
Hori stared at me with confused eyes, tapping her fingers on the table. "Where the heck is your mum?"
"That's what I'm worried about." I ran a hand through my hair. "He won't tell me about her and I know the guys wouldn't do anything to her. I can't reach her phone neither do I have a clue about her location."
