Taehyung P.O.V
I watched as Shin Sungyeon walked forward to her front door, slightly bending a little and I almost burst into laughter. My neck had her finger prints around them from a few minutes ago but I couldn't help but tease her a bit for it.
Leg cramps? That was the worst excuse anyone could give and this little girl never did any exercise. She always stood in a corner in gym class or would find any reason to skip it.
My body was hidden well behind some of the trees that lead into the forest on the side of the road and I made sure to look out for any cameras that might be planted. All of this security was a sign that Daniel Coltsman was terrified to the point I was sure he was locked in one of his studies with snipers ready to fire around him.
My phone vibrated in my pocket. It was Hoseok hyung.
"Hmm?" I answered quietly.
"We have a date. It's tomorrow night."
My back straightened in anticipation. "Details."
"It's Daniel's company's 21st anniversary and no way he would cancel that party."
I smirked. This was what I had been waiting for and the time was finally here.
"Get ready, we're almost closing in on where our files are." He spoke in monotone voice.
"What about the other stuff?" I asked.
"He hid it inside his library somewhere. I can get the girls to search for that one since we would be searching for details of where that would be." Hoseok sighed.
I scratched the back of my head. "Jimin and I will pass in as guests for the party, make sure to invent a good background about us hyung. I'm sure Namjoon hyung could hack into the security cameras for the time to find the details and then blur it."
I can picture it in my mind at the moment and if my plan went well, there was a full chance at getting what we want and finally becoming free.
"It could work. Jin hyung and Suga hyung will take out the main snipers assigned at the back gates and along with the sensors, the cameras will blur for maximum 20 seconds Tae, you better make good use of that time." He warned and I sighed.
This was possibly the most difficult mission I had ever faced and it made me feel unsure. There were so many things that could hold us back and the obstacle that could be were the girls. Daniel could use Sungyeon as bait even if he could think of it. He could hurt her and I wasn't ready to see that. She got over the fact that her father was a killer so quick that it actually frightened me, not knowing what was going on inside her mind. I had a feeling it would be darker than I expected.
"When do we make a move?" I stole a glance at Sungyeon's window. The curtains were pulled close together.
"As soon as we get Namjoon to hack into their system and then we'll know. Get everyone to be ready by then." Hoseok spoke.
"What about you, hyung?" I raised an eyebrow though he couldn't see it.
He chuckled sheepishly. "Well, as soon as that 20 second time span is over, the power will be cut for at least 15 minutes or we could extend it before chaos starts and that's enough time for me to escape with the girls."
I breathed in relief. Thank god, I hadn't thought of that. "Make sure you guys eat something."
"Why do I have a feeling you're concerned for someone else and not the rest of us?" And the teasing had come.
