"I don't have words." Ellie stated while she sat in front of me and Yana and Hori was just on the floor, staring at us both with a blank expression. Then slowly, she spread her hands out. "How?"
I scratched the back of my head. "Well.... it's a long story."
"I think we're all ready to hear that story since you both look like you've been mangled like a deer hit by a bus." Ellie crossed her arms and her eyes were narrowed into slits. Sure that moment came when we were all throwing ourselves at each other and crying and hugging and swearing at BTS about how mistreated we were and all that yada yada.
But afterwards, it was time for us to shoot our mouths and let the flood out.
Yana clicked her tongue. "You see, it's kind of very complicated since we got some sort of information we shouldn't know about and now we're in danger in our own house."
"And I'm actually very disappointed because whatever we learned during our time there made us realize who the bad guys are and it's not the yahoos that kidnapped us." I threw in, speaking matter-of-factly.
Hori raised an eyebrow. "You're telling me that the guys who did that," She pointed at my fake blood lips and bruised cheek and Yana's bandaged shoulder sarcastically, "are not bad? If they are not bad then I don't know what they are."
I pursed my lips and wiped my lower lip and right cheek. "Oh sorry, this is not real actually, it's just paint."
"Wait, what?" Ellie's eyes were wide with surprise and relief.
"Then how about that?" Hori pointed confusedly to Yana's shoulder in which she replied with a dry, "Oh, that one's real."
"Can you please start from the beginning?" Ellie clasped her hands together. "I'm kind of confused on whatever is happening. Some bruises on you are fake and some are real, what's going on?"
"Okay, can you tell us what is not fake first?" Hori held up a palm. "So it'll be easier for us to discriminate between two and two while you guys tell the story."
"This is the thing that's real I guess." Yana pointed to her shoulder.
"Jeez, what the hell happened to that? It looks bad." Ellie made a pained face.
"Some idiot got angry and he decided to end my collarbone." Yana joked and I rolled my eyes. "It was an accident, he didn't mean to do break her."
"So now you're defending your kidnappers?" Hori leans back, shocked and looks at Ellie. "Am I the only one who thinks you guys are suffering from Stockholm syndrome?
"What? No!" I held up my hands and waved it around as if my entire life depended on trying to let them prove my friends opinions wrong. "No way!"
"Then spill the beans!" Ellie thumped her hands on her clothed thighs.
"What happened was pretty hilarious...." I trailed off and Hori held up a hand. "How 'bout we start with how you got kidnapped hmm?"
That was helpful actually. "Thank you." I nodded. "So I was just walking home after school when my mom texted me to go get groceries and stuff so I took this really narrow lane to go through to that specific store she wanted me to get them from. And I bumped into this guy with a black hood and it all happened so fast." I threw up my hands. "One second I'm trying to apologize, the other, a black van is speeding up beside me with no sound literally and BAM! I'm shoved into it after having a chemical cloth up in my nose."
Yana, Ellie and Hori focused on one thing only. "Wait, your mom asked us to go get the groceries and she said she had an important meeting to attend to so she went out. We went to see her after school." Ellie stated.
