"Leave him be, we need to leave." Hoseok hissed when I moved towards the unconscious bodyguard. His tongue was hanging out of his mouth like a dog and his position on the floor was quite ridiculous.
Yana grabbed my hand and dragged me over to Hoseok while he hoisted Hori up. She slightly swayed and Ellie balanced her.
"Okay I need you girls to not scream, agreed?" Hoseok fished something out of his back pocket and we all peered at the small gun in his hand. It was a light silver and the pointer was long.
He aimed it for the wood beneath and it seemed like he was searching for the perfect spot. He grinned.
"Hang on tight." When he said that all three of us, me, Ellie and Yana clung onto Hoseok but Hori. She raised an eyebrow, flipping her hair.
"I'm a strong woman, I can take care of myself." She huffed.
"Yeah like five seconds ago." I mumbled.
A small sound shot through the air as the bullet went through Hoseok's gun and into the wooden base. I had no idea where he shot but it sent us spiralling down below.
I fought not to scream but Ellie and Hori let it rip. Yana was so calm and composed, holding tightly onto Hoseok. We all hit a hard surface and I let out a groan as my back came into contact with the cold hard floor.
"Aww." I moaned, not able to move for a while. The others were moving around as well and once again, I was surrounded by dark four walls.
"Where are we now?" Ellie's voice came out raspy.
Hoseok grunted, getting up in one swift move. "The base of the house. Possibly where our main search target is."
Hori's eyebrows furrowed. "And who's that?"
With that said, we all heard another croak that did not belong to any of us. I froze and Hoseok grabbed onto my arm tightly.
'What the f*** was that?" He gulped and stared around quickly. This scared human...
"Okay you never told me you had ghosts living at your basement Sungyeon." Ellie complained.
Yana rolled her eyes. "It's not a ghost you idiot."
"I'll go and look." Hori volunteered and stepped out forward with the little light illuminating the space.
"No wait!" I grabbed her arm but she shoved it off.
"Oh my god, will you people relax? There is absolutely nothing there, see, I'm gonna go and prove it to you all." She sassed and walked up into the darkness only for her footsteps to stop. Hoseok was still clinging onto my arm and I couldn't make him leave it.
"Hori?" Yana called when a minute passed.
Ellie let out a breath. "You better answer me now you little brat." She warned.
Soon enough, little pit pats of her shoes came and she returned with a worried face.
"You guys should see this." Was only what she said before going back.
I tugged on Hoseok and the rest of us followed her barely seen figure. A glimmer of flicking orange painted the walls and I had realized it was a candle. What I was not expecting was a womanly figure chained up to the wall.
Her body was sagging and her arms were lifted as they were cuffed above her head and chains adorned her small feet. She didn't look young. Her clothes were very familiar and her brown hair was in chaos.
I was speechless.
"Eomma?"
Simultaneously my friends gasped.
