I was still frozen there in his arms, not knowing what to do. We were looking like some sort of loving couple the way we were kneeling down on the floor. What the heck was he doing? What was I doing? I was not even fighting back.
I just stayed there, in his long, strong arms, pressed against his body as the silence stretched between us. Neither of us said anything and I could feel our chests rise as we breathed in sync. The longer I stayed in his arms, the more peace came over me. I hadn't felt this much comfortable or warmth in my heart ever. It felt....right.
My body tensed up when he sighed slowly, rubbing his large palms.....this guy has big hands, on my back softly. This was not the kind of hugs I had ever received in my entire life. This was so different, so nice that I could just become addicted to it.
Suddenly, the sound of an alarm blaring made us both jump, cutting through the peaceful silence. Red lights flared around us and V immediately stood us up. His face was filled with shock and anger, glaring around the corridors. Wrapping one arm around me, he tapped a nearby wall and a pass code entry box appeared, pieces of the wooden wall moving up and revealing it. My eyebrows rose to my hairline. These guys fully had whatever safety they could need to be forever protected. I was kind of jealous as I could never have cool stuff like that in my house.
"Whoa, what the heck is that?" I pointed in awe.
V typed in some few 20 numbers and a door slid open. He pulled me inside quickly and the door automatically shut back behind us. "It's something called precaution pabo."
I glared at him, although I couldn't really see him, it was very dark. Almost to the point that not even shapes could be identified. I was just looking up and furrowing my eyebrows at the darkness. "Yah, how was I supposed to know that? Its not like I know every perfect security needed to protect a president."
V chuckled. "Don't tell me your dad didn't install these in your house, you're a billionaire's daughter."
When I didn't answer he laughed even harder. I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth. "Why are we even in here?"
It was like something shocked him into realization and V stopped laughing. After a minute of silence he spoke. "Someone has infiltrated this place." He spoke.
My eyes grew big. "What?"
"I know one thing that neither Coltsman or any police force can track this place down so its someone else."
My hope evaporated into the air. So I was not getting rescued anytime sooner. "Don't feel down, I promise to be wonderful company til the day we let you go." He said faking cheerfulness.
I huffed. "Wonderful company my rear...." I muttered under my breath.
I could hear V snapping his phone out. "Who is it?"
I couldn't hear what the person was saying on the other side of the line.
"I thought we had a deal with them!" V suddenly growled, angry as shit.
"Who's behind this?"
After a few moments of silence I could hear V's knuckles cracking. "That son of a ***** is gonna get it this time!" Then he threw the phone against the wall, breaking it. Yeesh dude, do these people love being so violent?
V grabbed my hand and then I could see the wooden door opening again, light streaming through. It was when I got a clear look at V's face. His hair was drenched with sweat and his eyes were hard, a little worry seeping through them. I gulped.
"What's going on V?" I eyed the red lights still flaring.
V held my hand tighter. "Just stay behind me and do not let go." He ordered. My heart was thumping now. Something about the way he acted was starting to freak me out. He never looked this much alert before and the fact that we were both moving all stealthily, well me moving as stealthy as a waddling duck, was giving me the idea that this time, I was about to get attacked for real.
