Trence's POV

I quickly ran home and turned on my computer. Luciel, my mom's hacker and partner (who I wish isn't my mother's..well) actually became my friend. He gave me access to the website of Mom's secretive company, an account as well. He said that that site is the only site where he and I could talk at.

I messaged him after looking around to check for, I guess, spies or police.

Subject: locate

Can you please do me a favor and locate this woman?

I sent him a picture of Taileen.

He sent me a quick reply.

Not the reply I wanted, though.

I waited around the house, studying. Suddenly, a loud buzz came from my computer, startling me.

A copy pasted picture of a map with a big, red dot was shown.

Its the exact location of Taileen Anderson. As of now, tho. Lets just hope that Ms. Andersons mother doesnt have a hacker better than I am.

A subdivision?

Dakota Street, Mazuma Homes...

That's not so far away from the place I live in. It's near to the school we enter to.

Should I go there right now? Her  mother shouldn't be alert right now, right? I thought to myself.

I decided to go there the next day.

Ugh, should I really be this cowardly?

Here, I set foot in front of Taileen's house. I hope.

It's not heavily guarded, there isn't even any guards in front of the gates. I didn't let down my guard, though.

I decided to contact Taileen first.

I hesitated. Should I casually ask her?

I shrugged and sent it.

The reply wasn't quick.

At home, just staring at completely nowhere. Why?
