a few months after her arrival...Taileen Anderson became even more rebellious than she was before.
"TAILEEN! COME BACK HERE, YOU RASCAL!" the care-taking nun screamed at the top of her lungs, but Taileen kept running. Why would she listen to that nun, anyway? The place was boring. Aren't boring places and boring people supposed to be ignored?
She ran and ran until she found her secret exit. She climbed the fences and landed on a worn-out couch. She ran again.
"Taileen---!" The nun shouted, and Taileen smiled because she knew that the nun was at her limit. "Ugh, T-- Lilia! C-Come here, I need water! Lilia--!!"
A round of muffled shouts and screams came after, and Taileen's escapade was forgotten.
She shouted, "Bike!", and then took the bicycle of the baker. The baker replied, "Bring it back before seven o'clock sharp, okay?"
Noted. Taileen thought.
She quickly rode away from the place, before the nun replenished herself and start to chase after her, again.

Taileen became a loner.
St. Paul's Female University and Dormitory, the place she was brought to by her very cruel mother, was a private school and dorm where females become feminine and classy and very, very timid. The nuns who ran the place were boring and strict, and the women her age were too refined for Taileen to befriend, so she often left it against the nuns' will. Even though she promised to herself that she'd change, she'd change for good.....well, she couldn't! Who wants a boring woman, anyway? Taileen didn't, that was for sure.
But...it was lonely. She didn't have any friends at all. At lunchtime, her acquaintances would gather around and talk (very quietly), and she'd just eat by herself, with the stray dogs and stray cats. She'd even see her companions make out, and mind you, they were all girls. It was...appalling! Not that she had anything against lesbians...
She sighed as she pedaled. I want to leave that hellhole. She thought.
And as if on cue, she found a house.
It was abandoned and kinda broken down. Only a little.
She rode over in front of the house and parked the bike, kicking the stand on. She eyed the house, checking if anyone was home. None. Taileen thought and then, she smiled.
She knocked first before entering, waited for a few seconds, a minute, and still, nobody answered. She grinned ear to ear and opened the door.
If there is someone, after all, then I'll just talk them out, she planned inside her thoughts. If they refuse...nope, can't take that as an answer. She smirked.
She sat down on the couch and admired the house she was in. The light was working, although it blinked every once in a while. The furniture was slightly dusty, and they were neatly put. There was a fridge without any food inside, and everything she needed, or at least for now.
I'll find a part-time job, she thought. I'll save money, and I'll graduate using my own, earned money.
But, for now, I'll just...sleep.
She felt like Goldilocks, invading someone's house, and settling in it, but who knows? Maybe there won't be a grumpy bear coming in. She'll take her chances.
Just as her tiredness and sleepiness were consuming her, she heard footsteps. Ignoring it, she continued trying to sleep. But the sound came closer and closer. Then, a sound of jumping, and a faint gasp.
