Taileen's POVI heard people talking to each other, and some quiet conversations while I waited for my flight to come.
"Hey, have you heard about that kid who's making a fuss here?"
"Yeah, I heard he just came and fought with some guards."
"Jeez, the security isn't tight at this airport."
"What do you mean? It's the kid that was recklessly strong."
I wondered who that kid was. Should I panic?
Nahh, I've got my katana with me. Unless he's some kind of zombie or someone who can receive my hits without sweat, it's completely nothing to worry about.
"Taileen, we're about to leave." My mom said in the coldest tone I've ever heard.
"Oh goodness, he's coming this way."
"What's his problem?!"
"Ouch! Stop pushing, you annoying, little attractive brat!"
I heard groans of pain, but I didn't turn around. I was about to leave when suddenly,
"Taileen, don't leave me!!"
I turned around, the air of the sliding door blew past my hair.
"Trence..," I whispered to the wind. I felt a tug at my chest as I stared into his eyes, his beautiful eyes, and I felt tears rolling down my cheeks.
The police were tugging him, pulling him away from us, from everyone, but nevertheless he shouted,
"I love you!! So please, please don't leave me. You didn't even reply to me yet...! So please, stay..with me."
His voice broke, and he cried harder.
He looked so weak, but his strong determination somehow filled me with strength, even if the tugging at my chest made me shake.
"Ugh, what is with that kid's drama?" I heard my mother whisper to herself.
I averted my eyes from her and jogged away from there, which alerted Mom. "Taileen, you--!"
I kept jogging and opened the sliding door to exit the little hallway that led to the entrance of the airplane.
"Come back here, you brat!!" I heard Mom's threatening scream. I didn't even bother looking back.
When I reached opened it wider, I saw Trence with a hopeful and happy look on his face.
I gave him a grin. "Well, you intend to take full responsibility of me, don't you? 'Cause you will."
He gave me a smile, a very heart racing smile, and nodded, tears visible on his eyes. "Yes, of course I will."
I gave a sigh of relief, but I made sure he wouldn't notice it.
"Then, catch me!!"
I jumped, about 15 steps above the stairs, to him.
Everyone could see us, I'm sure Mom stopped chasing me and got distracted from this sight.
It felt like flying, the feel of rebellion, freedom, love, and I shouted while I was on air,
"TRENCE, I LOVE YOU!!"
The confession I said just drifted from my mouth. It was purely unintentional. I guess it was the mood.
When I landed on Trence who didn't really catch me all well because we were on the ground, I gave him a grin.
"Well, I guess I love you too." Trence said with a grin wider than mine, his blush reaching to his ears.
He stood up, carried me bridal style, and ran away.
It was the happiest moment I ever had, and the decision I made wasn't regretful at all.
Because I was embraced by the arms of the one I love, because my mother accepted my decision at the end, because everything was alright. Because I love Trence, and just choosing him wasn't something anyone will regret.
