The last two days have been hectic, to say the least. I've been trying to figure out what to do with Cade and his friend whilst also looking into their backgrounds and trying to get them to speak up about what they did to Alex to no avail. I've also been checking up on Damien and Ash as the doctor won't let me see Alex yet because she's still crazily frightened of everyone. Today will be a good day though because finally, he is allowing me to see her.

I walk into the infirmary with Josh, Charlie, Emily and Jodie close behind me. Josh has a check-up to make sure he is properly healing and in perfect health after his accident and Charlie, Jodie and myself are visiting our friends and significant others.

Since we have been back at the pack house Alex, Damien and Ash have all been in the infirmary getting attention from our pack doctor. Ash should be out today because his injuries were only minor compared to Damien's and Alex's.

Damien's wounds were extensive, he had a bullet to the upper thigh and even though I hoped it wasn't, the bullet was made of silver which made the process even worse. As our bodies aren't able to handle anesthetics the doctor had to remove the bullet without numbing properties and all we could hear through the pack house for hours was screaming from Damien, luckily, he had Charlie by his side every step of the way. After removing the bullet and assessing the damage the doctor concluded that there was no internal damage and that a simple stick on the top layer of skin would allow the wound to heal. He also suffered a broken nose which was easily corrected and will heal quickly as it wasn't damaged by silver at all. A few other cuts and bruises healed within hours of the attack and the rest of his body was fine.

I'd been visiting Damien every day as the doctor wasn't allowing me to see Alex yet. She started screaming again on the run back from the cellar to the pack house but I didn't stop. She needed some serious help and the doctor said that being around the least amount of people as possible right now was the best way.

Before going to see her, I dropped by Ash's room with Jodie and Emily. His room was simple with one bed and a window looking outside. The walls were white with one blue feature wall and a tall cupboard in the corner where his belongings were kept.

"Hey, dude," I said to him as he sat in the bed with his hands bandaged. The doctor said that his hands would be fine and that they should heal with some mild scarring which may take up to 3 months and he might have some nerve damage but he would heal and everything would be ok.

"Hey bro, what's up?" he says as chirpy as ever, a giant smile on his face.

I laugh as Emily runs up and jumps on his bed. "Daddy!" she squeals with the smile that's always plastered on her face.

"Hey, Princess!" He says with Jodie lifting her up onto the bed. She tucks herself into his side and he smiles down at her.

"Not much has been going on with the pack, when you and Damien get out we will decide together what to do with Cade and his accomplice. I'm glad to see you're recovering well." I say to Ash and he looks up at me. "I'll leave all you guys alone then," I say as I watch Jodie sit on the other side of Ash.

"Thanks, Alpha." He says smiling and with that, I walk out the door and down the corridor to Alex's room.

The corridor is long and filled with door after door. Damien was put into a room next to Ash's but I don't go in, I leave him and Charlie why he's trying to recover. He doesn't need me bombarding him right now. I continue along the corridor to the end where we keep the patients who need to be watched the most and right now this includes Alex. I reach the glass door at the end of the hall with the large 'DOCTOR' sign on the door and open it to reveal the doctor sitting at his desk inside.
