You walked to school on a normal, boring, uneventful thursday morning. The only thing unusual about today is that Daehwi went to school without you. Usually the two of you drive together but this week Daehwi said he couldn't drive you this week. Something has been very off about him lately and you wish you knew what was bugging him but when you asked him he looked down and changed the subject.
When you finally arrived at school you spotted Daewhi with some girls from the cheer squad. Usually Daehwi avoided them so it was weird that he was talking and laughing with them. You felt your heart pang in a weird jealous feeling, but brushed it off. If Daehwi wants to talk to them, he should.
You were wearing your favourite pair of dark wash skinny jeans that made your legs look long along with a white crop top and black converse hightops, which is usually dressy for you. You held your head up high and looked in the hallway for your best friend. Once you spotted her you strutted your way past Daehwi, "accidentally" bumping into one of the cheerleaders and glancing behind your shoulder.
"Sorry, didn't see you." you said with a smirk, looking up to Daehwi. His eyes travelled up and down your body and met your eyes with his eyebrows raised. You rolled your eyes and flipped him off in reply. His mouth dropped to the floor.
"That serves him" you thought "he can blow me off for some cheerleaders anytime."
After last period you ran from the classroom, rejoicing that tomorrow was Friday. You had already grabbed money from your backpack to grab coffee before heading home. As you turned the corner of the hallway, you ran straight into someone.
"(y/n)?" Daehwi said.
"Daehwi?" you said, stopping one second to look up into his eyes. You quickly moved past him to walk to a cafe. Unfourtunatly there was only one cafe by school so you knew he would probably meet you there.
When you sat down with your drink at the cafe, you were suprised that Daehwi hadn't followed you to talk. It's not like you desperatly want him to talk to you and apologise. Who are you kidding, of course you do! Sighing, you got up and started to head home.
'Whatever with Daehwi he obviously doesn't have the decency to apologise! How dodgy. Why do you even care anyways?' you thought.
Then it hit you. YOU LIKE DAEHWI. But how could that be? Sure he's pretty cute. Okay more like a puppy cute but all he did was follow you around like a lost puppy. He cared about your opinion on everything and asked you so many questions about what your interested in and he always did what you wanted.
You decide to head home and think about your sudden feelings for the boy next door. When you arrive home your entire front yard is covered with red and white roses. You walk up to the door seeing a note that has your name written on it.
''What the hell?'' You say outloud.
"(y/n)" you heard a voice behind you. You swoosh around to see the man himself, Daehwi, standing behind you.
"What do you want Daehwi? Did you do this?" you spat. Sure you liked him but he isn't off the hook from ditching you all week.
"Yes, (y/n), I just wanted to say I'm sorry for ditching you this week. It was really rude of me to do." He says honestly.
You smile softly at him and say "Yeah it was. I guess I forgive you. What do you got in your hand there?" Pointing to a red heart box.
He handed you it, your fingers brushing together leaving your skin sizzling. You looked on the top of the box, where it read CHOCOLATE SQUARES. YES!
"Okay you are officially forgiven" you say looking up with a smile on your face. Daehwi had moved closer to you, definetly popping your personal bubble. You snaked your arms around his neck, pressing your head to his chest, hugging him tightly.
"Thanks David. Listen-" (a/n - David is his english name)
"No for once you listen. (y/n) I know this might ruin our relationship or i don't know but God I couldn't stand it anymore." he said. You looked up into his brown eyes, reading him like a book.
"Your smile and your beautiful eyes. Your laugh, just your whole personality. I just can't seem to stay away from a gorgeous girl like you. From the first time I saw you, I knew how special you are. Happiness just radiated off of you... I guess what I'm trying to say is (y/n), I like you. Hell I may even love you." He finished, looking down, his cheeks tinted a redish colour.
You stood there in shock, repeating his words in your head over and over again. He likes you back! You heard him clear his voice, obviously uncomfortable.
"Listen (y/n) I'm sorry I just sprung this on you but I tried to distance myself from you to shake off these feels but I don't-"
You shut him up by kisssing him softly. His plump, soft lips moved with yours, making you feel like you're in heaven. They also tasted like chocolate, which was a plus. You pulled away, looking into his eyes.
"Daehwi, I-"
"No need to say more." he said, leaning down to kiss you again.
"No, no, hold up." you paused, opening up the chocolate box to see a couple of chocolates missing. You showed him the box, raising your eyebrows.
"I got hungry waiting for you. Sorry?"
