"Why hello there, gorgeous. Where are you going off to looking this stunning?" Jisung teases lightly, his muscular, manly arms wrapping around your waist from behind. You can hear the smirk in his tone, as he softly kisses your neck, which, in turn, makes you smile.
"I'm going out with Baekho and Ren" you tell him, putting on a second coat of mascara. Jisung's warm, moist lips, which had just been working their way down your neck so delicately yet seductive, stop mid-kiss. He pulls back slowly, looking at your reflection in the mirror. His grin has disappeared, his face now hard and clearly tense with displeasure.
"What?" you ask him. He scowls, muttering something under his breath and steps away from the mirror, dropping onto your bed, resting his head in his hands, propped up on his knees.
"Why are you all sulky? Is it because I'm going out?" you persist, now also turning your attention away from your mirror image to face Jisung.
"No, I don't care that you're going out. It's..... Whatever" he shrugs, still clearly bothered by something.
"Jisung, why are you being difficult?" you sigh, annoyed you are having to deal with this. Just moments ago you were jolly and excited for your night out, spirits high and blazing. Now, you feel ticked off and irritated by Jisung's gloomy mood.
"I'm not being difficult!" he protests.
"Then why are you suddenly so mad?"
"I'm not"
"Ughhhh! For Christ's sake, Jisung! Just spit it out"
"Not when you are in that mood" he mumbles. That puts you over the edge.
"Excuse me? I was in a FINE mood until YOU started skulking around after I mentioned i'm going out with Baekho and Ren...... Wait, is that it? Are you seriously jealous of my best FRIENDS?" you exclaim, the light bulb finally going on inside your brain.
Jisung's expression darkens, but he won't admit to anything. "I told you, I'm fine! Go do whatever the hell you want. Stay out as long as you want, with whomever you want, it doesn't bother me!" he cries out, jumping off the bed.
"Fine. I will" you retort, stemming your hands in your hips.
"I hope you have a great time" he sneers, sarcasm dripping from his words before he swiftly exits the room, making sure to slam several doors on his way out.
Fury boils inside of you, anger at how immature and pathetically insecure Jisung is acting stirring within you. You throw the mascara you are still clasping against the wall in frustration, slumping onto the bed Jisung has just sat on. The more time passes, the more your anger is replaced with a cold, lonely feeling, mixed with guilt and that twinging twist you get whenever something bad happens. You hate fighting with Jisung, especially over stupid things like this. You now realise you shouldn't have dismissed his jealousy as insecurity, but rather as a compliment. He is obviously just concerned about the amount of time you are spending with other boys, and he just wants to know you still love him, and only him. Everything just kinda escalated, and you regret your fight already. Your phone buzzes with a new text. It's from Ren. He asks when he and Baekho should come pick you up. You reply, saying you aren't feeling well and to go without you. The mood was pretty much killed the moment you told Jisung about your plans, but more than that, you really DO feel unwell. An almost sickening sensation is creeping over you, and you know it won't leave until you at least attempt to make up with Jisung. Yet, it seems your pride stands a little in the way. You don't want to admit to your over reaction, and to be fair, it's not like Jisung was an innocent bystander in this drama. However, as you well know by now, Jisung isn't big on apologies. In fact, most times he just either waits for you to apologise or let's it blow over and pretends like it never happened. As you sit, debating whether or not to make the first step, you hear floor boards creaking. You look up to see Jisung's silhouette in the door way. "(y/n)? You're still here?" he says in surprise. You nod because honestly, you are lost for words, speechless at Jisung's appearance.
"I.... I thought you'd be gone by now." he almost whispers, leaning against the door frame.
"I decided not to go" you inform him. A small silence follows. "Why did you come here anyway, if you thought I was gone?" you inquire. Jisung takes a few steps inside your room, so you can see him properly. He resembles a scolded school boy, his complexion filled with sorrow and guilt. "I.... I just wanted to leave you a note to say I'm sorry" he mumbles shyly.
"A note?" you can't help but giggle at that. How typical of Jisung not to apologise face to face, but in something like a note.
"Hey! You know I suck at this" he defends himself, cracking a small smile himself. You both lock eyes, remaining there in silence for a few moments.
"So do you accept my apology?" Jisung asks quietly.
"You haven't technically apologised yet...." you point out, loving seeing him squirm in discomfort. He hates admitting defeat.
"I'm...... I'm really sorry" he brings out, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. You shake your head and chuckle. looping your arms around his neck and pulling him close.
"I accept your apology" you tell him, grinning broadly, before gently bringing your lips to his. A knowing glint sparkles in Jisung's eyes, because he knows what comes next. It time for making up, in the only (and best) way possible.
