Today was literally the worst day of your life. Your bestfriend Minhyun was getting married, not to you, but to someone else.
You were devastated when you found out, you should be happy for him right? Well no. You had a slight crush on him, actually it was a massive crush. The thought of you telling him was a bad idea in case he doesn't like you back in the same way and that could ruin your friend ship.
-FLASHBACK-
Y/N: Hey Minhyun, I need to tell you something
You say nervously
Minhyun: Yeah I need to tell you something to
Y/N: Okay you go first
Minhyun: Don't freak out ok?
Y/N: Okay?
Minhyun: I'm getting Married!
What. The. Actual. Fuck.
Y/N: You're what?!
You say in shock
Minhyun: I finally did it! I proposed to Jennie! And she said yes!!
Your heart sank and a tear fell from your eye.
Minhyun: W-why are you crying?
He said simpathetically as he puts his hand on your shoulder.
Y/N: I'm just super happy for you thats all
You lied. Trying to put on a fake smile. You were gutted.
Minhyun: Now what was it that you wanted to tell me?
You wanted to tell Minhyun that you've loved him ever since you you've laid eyes on him in fourth grade.
But you can't know! He's getting married for god sakes!
Y/N: I- uh, came here to tell you that....... I MADE YOU SOUP!!
Minhyun: What?
He said confused
Y/N: uh yeah, I made you some soup and I came to tell you that it's ready...
I slightly chuckled awkwardly. I am such a bad liar.
Minhyun: Uh, ok? I thought it was going to be important but thanks!
He kissed my cheek and walked off.
GOD DAMNIT Y/N!!!! WTF "I MADE YOU SOUP?!" God what is wrong with me.
You walk off sighing, knowing that Minhyun will spend the rest of his life with Jennie.
-END OF FLASHBACK-
You were taking a long walk in the park with Buddy ( your dog ) thinking to yourself, what if Minhyun forgets about? Will he still want to be friends? Will Jennie like me?
As you were thinking, you kept hearing giggling sounds. You peeped around the tree to see Minhyun and Jennie holding hands, cuddling, laughing and that cheesy stuff.
You quickly put on your hoodie and walked off not wanting them to see you. But Buddy barked as he recognised Minhyun.
Y/N: Shhhh! Buddy, not now!
He wouldn't stop! He wanted to see Minhyun Buddy was like Minhyun's dog, you know what they say ' a dog is a man's best friend ' eh?
Y/N: Buddy! I said be quiet!
Minhyun: uh- (y/n) ? Are you okay.
Shit. He has seen me.
You turn around casually
Y/N: Oh hey Minhyun! Didn't see you there..
Here I go again with my terrible lying.
Minhyun: aww, buddy! I missed you pal! Come here buddy. You're so cute! Yes you are yes you are!
He said in a weird voice to Buddy while he was licking Minhyun's face off. Then you hear someone clear their throat rudely.
Minhyun: Oh sorry, (y/n), this is Jennie my.. Fiancé
He said slow and steady on the word 'Fiancé'
Y/N: Hi, it's nice to meet you, love your music.
I put on a fake smile
Minhyun: Jennie, this is (y/n)
Jennie: oh why thank you, it is also a pleasure to meet you too.
I cringe at how polite she is, I mean, she needs to loosen up a little.
Then Buddy pounces on Jennie and starts to lick her face off!
Jennie just screams like a baby.
Y/N: oh I'm so sorry! Buddy's just too friendly sometimes.
She just glared at me.
Minhyun: Jen, relax. Buddy doesn't bite, he's just being friendly. He likes you.
He said while helping her off the ground.
Jennie: Minhyun! You know how much I hate dogs!
Jennie: I'm sorry about that but cc magazine wants me to do a photoshoot now!
Minhyun: omg! That's great, have fun!
They both kissed. Ugh.
And then there were through.
Y/N: so uh- Jennie is quite a something.....
Oh I am just so sarcastic
Minhyun: Yeah she is
Then we started to walk. I don't know where but it's nice to not have a destination.
Y/N: Listen Minhyun, Jennie is deffinently going to make a beautiful bride.
Minhyun: You really think so?
Y/N: I know so.
Minhyun then took Buddy's leash from me and started to walk him instead.
Minhyun: Hey! I didn't get my soup the other day!
Y/N: Oh well, it looks like I owe you some soup huh?
Minhyun : you sure do, and by the way, you're a really bad liar.
He winked
Y/N: Shut up
I playfully nudged him
Minhyun: (y/n)? Are you coming to my wedding?
Y/N: I- uh don't know? I mean I have a lot of studying and work to do and-
Minhyun: oh just shut up! Look you're coming to my wedding! You're my best friend you have to come!
