Rohan's P.O.V

At the moment me and Nalini are sitting in her car silently and I feel her hand clasp mine tightly. She's nervous. To be honest, I am as well.

We are going to confront her father, for all his stupid behaviour towards Nalini. She helped me to move on with my life, I'll help her to move on with hers.

"R-Rohan I'm scared. What if it doesn't turn out the way we want it to? What if it gets worse?!"

Giving a reassuring look I say, "Don't worry Nalini. I'm here for you, he can't. And, won't. Do anything to you or yell at you unnecessarily."

"O-okay.."

We both get out of the car and walk to Nalini's parents house and she rings the doorbell to which it is immediately open by her mother.

"Oh Nalini! I'm so glad you are here! How are you doing ma?"

Nalini replies nervously, "Well, just thought me and Rohan would...uh...v-visit."

"Yes Mrs Joseph, Nalini very much missed you, so I'd thought it would be a great idea to visit. We've got a lot to talk about."

Mrs Joseph raises her eyebrow suspiciously at us but then smile pulling Nalini in hugging her and then I walk in afterwards.

We are guided into their living room which is quite nice, while Nalini goes with her mother towards the kitchen to make tea for us all. I smile nervously as I see an intimidating figure come down the stairs, ominously staring me down.

"H-hello there, Mr Joseph. How are you?"

He has an intimidating aura surrounding him as he sits down across from me.

"Good. How are you?"

"I'm well."

An awkward silence appears in the room and my heart begins to beat as I feel his fiery eyes staring at me. The silence is interrupted by the clattering of cups and footsteps by both Nalini and her mother.

Nalini gives me a cup of tea and then her father and then sits down with a cup for herself and her mother, while her mother places a tray of sweets on the little table.

Nalini sits next to me and I hear her breathing becoming heavy and then I see Nalini's mother sitting opposite her father. Wow. That just goes to show.

Mr Joseph speaks, looking at Nalini, "Well. How are you Nalini?"

She replies solemnly, "Yeah..I'm good."

I feel so bad for her. I glance at her sadly. I see her mother look at her half angrily and sadly, almost shaking her head at Nalini almost as if she's telling her not do say anything. No. Now is not the time to fear.

"Mr Joseph. Nalini, has something to tell you."

He raises an eyebrow at Nalini and me and then crosses his leg over the other saying, "Really? What would that be?"

I feel a harsh little slap on my back as I hear Nalini glare at me and I shrug at her. She had to get started soon? Might as well be now.

"Well Nalini? What is it?"

I look at Nalini as she struggles to form words and her hands are shaking in that much fear. Aww..no. Don't worry Nalini, remember I'm here.
