A week later...

Nalini's P.O.V

I can't believe I still blurted out I loved him?! I'm still so embarrassed by that...but I do. I do love him..a lot. He's actually amazing.

When I said that, I was internally scared that he would reject it but he just smiled but looked overwhelmed. It was definitely an awkward car ride back home. Yet, at least he's speaking with me normally.

I'm coming back from morning duty right now, and Rohan is currently already at home because ended early today. I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to sort things out with Rohan and his Uncle and Aunt.

I know this maybe risky but just like Rohan helped me a week ago, I will help. He absolutely deserves the best.

I get out of my car and open the front door, coming into the house while placing my white doctors coat on the hanger. I see Rohan sleeping or taking a nap on the couch. I look at him smiling while I place my bag down.

Oh Rohan..I go over and look at him and place my hand on his cheek, you've been through so much. I'm sorry...

I suddenly see his eyes open and smirk form on his face and he gives me a discreet wink making me squeal and take my hand off his face and turn around. NO! He saw me! Ahhh! I'm so embarrassed!

"Hello there wifey.."

"H-hi."

"That was nice of you, I almost fell asleep because of how soft and gently you were handling my gorgeous face."

I roll my eyes and turn around placing my hands on my hips.

"Why are you so obnoxious sometimes?"

"Why are you so cute sometimes? You don't need to pretend you are on a secret mission just to touch my beautiful face Nalini. You're my wife you have full permission to do so."

I stay silent as his smirk stays on his face and I glare playfully towards him.

"Thanks. I'll keep it in mind."

I smirk myself and then begin to walk to the bedroom to get changed and then into the kitchen for some Lunch.

After an hour I look at the time, okay I've got to break it to him that some 'special' guests are coming over in 30 minutes.

I go over to Rohan who is watching TV intently and I sit next to him cautiously and gain his attention.

"Hey...Rohan..I need to tell you something."

"That doesn't sound like a good 'something'.."

I shrug and look at him nervously, "It depends on how you take it. Well...I've invited some guests over today, they're coming over in 30 or 35 minutes."
