Chapter 11: Going Home

*Scott’s POV*

It’s been about two days since I arrived at the hospital. I’m ready to go home. I still have to come back for check-ups and a week from now I get my stiches taken out. In a little while Mitch is coming by to take me home. He said we are going to do some fun stuff. I’m so excited to spend time with Mitch. I miss him so much when visiting hours are over.

*Mitch’s POV*

I am going to the hospital to get Scott and take him home. We still need to talk about seeing his cousin Katlyn. The drive only took about fifteen minutes so I was there in no time.

Once I got his discharge papers, we left for the drug store to pick up some pain and sleeping medication. After we got home Scott when straight for the shower.

*Scott’s POV*

“I’m totally taking a shower when we get home.”

I can’t believe that I’m back home it felt like eternity since I’ve been home.

I head straight for the shower. I got undressed and stood in the warm water for about five to seven minutes just looking at where my stitches were and just thought of what would’ve happened to me if Mitch and the others didn’t come. The water began to hurt so I got out and got dressed and laid in my bed. I soon got tired and took a nap.

*Kirstie’s POV*

We are so glad Scott is okay and is at home. Mitch invited us all to come over for a late welcome home surprise for Scott.

I picked up Avi and Kevin and left for Scott and Mitch’s apartment around 4:30pm.

I smelled barbeque and elbowed Avi. He was confused at first but once he smelled it he wanted Kevin to get there faster.

After we got out of the car Avi went straight to the backyard.

*Avi’s POV*

I’m so excited to have some barbeque. I haven’t had any in two months.

I got out of the car and noticed Scott was cooking the food.

“I thought you were suppose to be resting?” I asked him while crossing my arms

“You know me Avi. I can’t relax for a long time and this is the only thing Mitch let me do.” He replied while sitting down

“Well let me cook this and you can go inside so you can rest for a bit.”

“Okay. Thanks Avi!” Scott said patting me on the back

*Scott’s POV*

After going inside and sitting on the couch for a while my side began to hurt so I lay down on the couch. I guess I was like that for about ten minutes but it felt eternity.

I hear footsteps coming towards me so I tried to sit up but it hurt so I just continued to lie there.

“Scott, are you okay?” Mitch asked while stroking my blonde hair

“I’m hurting. My side is killing me.” I told him and opened my eyes a bit

“I’m going to get your pain medicine and some water. While I’m gone try to sit up.” I said getting up

After a minute or two I tried to sit up. It hurt a lot so I grunted in pain a few times.

*Mitch’s POV*

I tried to hurry to get Scott’s medicine because I know he is in great pain. I grabbed the bottle from his bathroom and opened it. It only had about eight left. We got the bottle about two days ago and it had about twenty-four in it. I need to talk to Scott about this.
