Mitch’s POV
I was still crying when Scott let go.
“Scott, I thought they were going to take you from me. They said it’s all my fault.” I began to cry
“Who’s ‘they’?” Scott asked looking confused
“I had a dream and these dark figures surrounded me. They said you were going to die and that it’s all my fault.” I said while wiping the new tears falling from my eyes
“Mitch, I’m still here aren’t I? They aren’t going to take me from you.”
Kirstie’s POV
Mitch was explaining the dark figures to Scott. What scared me the most is that I had a similar experience.
"Not you too."
“Kirstie, what are you talking about?” Scott asked
“Scott, do you not remember during Geometry in high school?”
Scott was silent for a bit and said, “Yeah, when you screamed and scared everyone?”
“I remember that.” Mitch informed
“Yeah, well Mitch you are having them too.”
Mitch’s eyes widen and asked, “How long did you have them?”
“They went away once everybody I loved was gone. I have you guys but they haven’t bothered me since we got the band together for The Sing-Off.”
“They are going to take Scott from me?” Mitch looked really scared and began to cry so Scott held Mitch even though he just came out of surgery. Mitch fell asleep with Scott in his hospital bed.
Scott’s POV
Kirstie just told us that she use to see the dark figures like Mitch is seeing. Mitch began to cry so I made room for him on my hospital bed. I began stroking his hair and he soon fell asleep.
