Scott's POV
I just gave Mitch his gift and he is just full of joy.
The plan for today we are first going to go to his favorite shops.
“Where do you want to start?” I ask.
Mitch was too happy and singing too loud to hear the question.
“What did you say Scott?” Mitch said.
“I said where do you want to start?”
“Let’s go shopping!” Mitch screamed.
Mitch’s POV
Oh my gosh! Scott and I are about to have a day all to ourselves. I heard Scott say something but I wasn’t able to hear him.
“What did you say Scott?” I ask.
“I said where do you want to start?” Scott said.
I didn’t know what to do then it came to me.
I scream, “Let’s go shopping!”
We drive downtown to my favorite shops. I believe we were there for like three or four hours but it felt like an hour. I love shopping especially with Scott.
After we leave, we head to Chick-fil-a for a late lunch.
Scott’s POV
I love every minute with Mitch. I love him so much!
After Mitch’s big shopping spree, we head to Chick-fil-a. I was getting tired and my feet were beginning to ache but Mitch seems perfectly fine.
“Mitch, are you feet not hurting?” I ask.
He shook his head and said, “Nope, I’m use to this. Do your feet hurt?”
“Yes. They are hurting a bit.” I reply.
“We can go home if you want.” Mitch said.
I kind of do but I don’t have to.
“Are you done? We can go to other places.”
“I am if you are.” Mitch said.
Gosh he is like the sweetest guy in the world. Wait he is.
“I am but are you?” I ask.
“Yes.”
Mitch’s POV
Scott is getting tired so we decided to go home. Once we got home, Scott laid on the couch and just crashed moments later. He gets tired a lot faster than he use to so I let him sleep.
“Have a good nap Scotty. I love you.” I said quietly
I check my phone and I have three missed calls and texts. They were from Kirstie, Kevin, and Avi. They were wishing us a happy anniversary. I love them. They are so supportive.
Scott’s POV
I woke up and I look around the room. The natural light was slowly fading away.
“Did I just sleep the day away? I slept through Mitch and I’s special day; I can’t believe myself!” I said very loudly.
I knock off all the magazines and everything else on the coffee table. I sat back down and put my face in my hands. I hear Mitch coming from his room and he sound all worried. “Scott! Are you okay?”
I began to cry.
Mitch’s POV
I hear Scott talking to himself, wait that is yelling. Then I hear things clash to the ground, which makes me rush to where Scott was. Scott had his face in his hands.
“Scott! Are you okay?” I ask.
Right after I said that Scott started crying. I walked over to him and sat on my knees.
“Scott, what’s wrong?”
“I’m sorry, Mitch.” I didn’t mean to ruin our special day.” Scott said through his sobs.
“Ruin it? You didn’t ruin anything. I understand that you were tired plus I was use to all that walking.” I replied. “Please dry those eyes, Scott. You are perfectly fine.”
He lifts his head from his hands and gave me a hug.
Scott’s POV
I ruined everything but Mitch is saying differently. He always knows what to say and I love him for that.
I got up and gave Mitch a hug. Once we let go I called Mitch’s name. “Mitch?”
“Yes Scott.”
“You know I love you and you mean everything to me.” I took a deep breath and continued. “You keep me strong and I can’t live without you. Thank-you for always being there me.”
I see tears coming to Mitch’s eyes.
“Awe, Scott! I love you too and you are my everything. I keep you strong? You keep me together.”
