*Mitch’s POV*
Scott just arrived and was put into emergency surgery. We all are getting frustrated and began to blame ourselves for what happened to Scott. I told them to stop because it wasn’t their fault and they stopped.
It’s only been like 45 minutes since we arrived at the hospital and I could hear some commotion coming from the hall. I soon realize it was the paparazzi. I really didn’t want to deal with them right now.
One of them came up to me and shoved his microphone and camera in my face. “Hey it’s Mitch!” the reporter began, “What is going on with Scott?”
More questions were asked and they just kept coming and then my temper got the best of me and I began to yell. I have never been this angry before and I kind of liked it.
Kirstie came up behind me and said, “Mitch, just walk away.” Of course I listened to her because after hearing about what she did to Alex made me even more scared of her. I went to the nurse and asked her to have the paparazzi escorted out of the building.
*Kirstie’s POV*
I have never seen Mitch so angry before. It’s like there was someone in his place.
It’s been 5 hours since Scott was put into surgery and Mitch started to pace back and forth across the room. I hope Mitch is okay. He has been having a rough weekend. I can’t imagine what it is like to be in Mitch’s position.
*Scott’s POV*
‘What’s going on? Where am I?’ I said to myself while holding my head
A little girl walked up to me with a surprised look on her face.
“Scotty? What are you doing here?” the girl asked
“How do you know my name?” I said looking a little confused
“I’m your cousin’s daughter, Katlyn. Your cousin, Andrea, lost me on your birthday.” Katlyn said looking down
She’s my dead cousin? Wait I’m dead? I can’t be dead; Mitch needs me.
“Your heart is still beating but it will stop in one hour.” She said while giving me a hug
*Mitch’s POV*
“Hoying family?” the doctor announced
“Right here!” I said while getting up quickly
“Right this way.”
We went up in the elevator to floor 4 and went down the hall to room 417.
Scott was hooked up to four or five machines. I go and sit in a near by chair beside his bed and held his hand. I feel his hand shaking like he was having a bad dream. I began to cry but I tried to stay strong.
“Scott, I’m here. You are not alone anymore. I got you. Please wake up.” I said while leaning on the bed.
*Scott’s POV*
“How am I dead Kat?”
“You lost too much blood.”
I began to feel a strange tingling sensation in my hand and then warmth on my hand. I knew it was Mitch. Then I started to hear his voice, “Scott, I’m here. You are not alone anymore. I got you. Please wake up.”
“Kat can you hear that?” I asked while pointing to the sky
“Yes, it’s Mitch. You need to wake up and protect him. He needs you. I’m still watching over you and mommy.” She gave me a big hug
“I’m so glad to meet you again. I’m going to tell Andrea that you love her. I love you Katlyn and I’m going to miss you.”
“I’ll miss you too Scott. It’s time to wake up now.” She said letting go of me slowly
Everything went dark and I slowly opened my eyes and looked down and saw Mitch crying.
“Mitch? Where am I?” I said unaware of what just happened
“Scott!” Mitch said with excitement and hugged me
