*Mitch's POV*
My mouth practically dropped to the floor. Everyone came in close and we all did a big group hug. I began to cry and gave Scott a hug.
"Was this all for me?" I asked Scott while wiping tears from my eyes.
"Of course. It's your 24th birthday and our 3-year anniversary! Also it's been a long time since you've been really sad or down so that need to be celebrated."
Yeah, I forgot Scott asked me to be his boyfriend on my birthday. It's been so long, or felt like it, since we've been together. I've just lost track of time when I'm with Scott.
"Hey Mitch! We got you a big surprise and it's from me, Kevin, and Avi." Kirstie said with a good long hug and then hands me an envelope. I begin to open it but scolded at me.
"Don't open it yet!"
"Okay, okay, I won't." I told her and went to go put the envelope on the table.
*Scott's POV*
It looks like Mitch is having a blast. I heard the door and I walk toward the door. Mitch was almost at the door and I ran and told him I got it but we decided to answer it together.
As I put my hand on the knob, Mitch grabbed my free hand and clinged to my arm like a scared child. I smile and open the door.
Alex? What is he doing here?!?
"Why are you here Alex? We are a little busy." I said slowly I felt Mitch put his face into my chest and tries to hold back his tears.
"Scott. I don't mean to interrupt but I need to talk to Mitch." Alex pleaded
"No. You are disrupting the party and upsetting Mitch. You need to go." I said closing the door.
*Alex's POV*
Upsetting Mitch? Mitch loves me! Scott is a cover up. I'm going to get Mitch back. Scott does not deserve Mitch. I can protect Mitch unlike Scott.
*Scott's POV*
Why was Alex doing here? It doesn't matter because Mitch is hurting. After Mitch lets go he ran into his room and locked the door. Everyone looked confused.
"Mitch might not want to have anymore company over. If Mitch is up to it we could finish celebrating tomorrow but right now Mitch is not wanting loud noises or talking in general. He'll just block everything out." I told them
Kirstie, Kevin, and Avi came to me, "What's wrong with Mitch?" "Is he sick?" "Did you do something to him?" they asked
"Mitch is sad. I wouldn't do anything to him! Why would you think that?" I began to yell, "I'm sorry. I need to be with Mitch and he needs me. I'll update you when I can."
The group helped the guests leave and then cleaned up. They told me they got it handled. I got to Mitch's room and knocked.
"Mitch we need to talk. Are you okay?" I said with a gentle voice
