CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! WHY DID HE HAVE TO SIT HERE?! Carter had just sat down next to me... at the core's table! I can't risk him finding out I am C.C.P., and the core can't know I am Lily. UGH!!!!

I then hear the sound of pots being banged together, signaling that someone is going to get dish duty. Hallelujah! I have never been so happy about dishes. One of the Chefs stands up to make an announcement "Alright, around here we run a tight schedule around here. That mean you need to be where you need to be, when you need to be there. So, recruit Marks, you have dish duty. Get to it!" 

Carter give me an apologetic look and heads off to the kitchen. When he was out of sight, I break out into my happy dance. I see Reap and Buck looking at me, Buck looked disgusted, but Reap had a smirk on his face. I stop dancing under there gaze and turn my eyes back to my plate to finish eating.

When I finished eating I get up and give my plate to Carter who was standing by the dish bucket. I send him a smile and then walk over to my dad. "Hi daddy." I greet him.

"Hi Sweetheart. How are your dorms?" He asks me, a knowing smile on his face.

"Disgusting!" I state and he scrunches up his nose.  I chuckle and see that the rest of the core was leaving so, I give my dad a hug and follow them out. As we were walking back the guys were rough housing around like little boys. I shake my head and ignore them until Buck falls behind and walks next to me.

"Ok, you may think you are all high and mighty because you are Captain's favorite, but trust me when I say this, you are a weak, useless, little girl. Got it?" He threatens me. I stick to my pact and not say a word, fighting the urge to punch his lights out. "Now, now, don't look so sad. If you are going to cry why don't you run back to Ireland straight to your weak brother. I am shocked Chase is able to survive without you. We both know the only reason he has such privileges is because of you...Lily." He continued. That is where I draw the line. I stop in my tracks and see that The entire core had stopped wrestling and was walking normally, probably listening to every word. Noticing that we had stopped everyone else stops and turns around, realizing that I had caught on.

"Alrighty then, since apparently none of you know how to mind your own business and y'all heard all of that. Yes, my name is really Lily. Yes, I have a brother, his name is Chase. Now, if any of you have a problem with it, you can let me know now. Also, I will have you know, Chase is an amazing soldier, top of his class and he did that without me. He did that while I still lived here. I will also have you know, I am Captain's favorite and I have told him on multiple occasions that I would rather be treated worst than the rest of you. You wanna know why? Because I know I can take it worst than all of you." I say to all of them. I then run off  leaving all of them with their mouths hanging open.

I ran to the dorm and changed into my training clothes and got out of there before any of them arrived. After getting out of there quickly, I ran in the shadows to the obstacle course. When I got there I realized it was still wet from the storm. Perfect! My favorite time to run the course is when it is raining, or when it has just rained. I looked at the clock tower, 9:45. I decide to time myself. This will be fun.

I run to the rope wall and quickly climb up the wall and climb down half way on the other side before jumping the rest of the way down. After sticking the landing I run to the monkey bars and swing my way across the zigzagged bars. I jump down from there and run to the tires, making my way in and out of the tires was easy. The mud crawl was next, I get down as close as I can to the ground and crawl underneath the barbed wire. Once I had finished the crawl I sprinted my way through the cone field, then to the finish line. I look at the clock once again, 9:50. New record!!! I jump and down excitedly. 

I continued to run that course over and over until my feet were sore and my hands were bleeding. I then bandaged them up and kept running the course. Before I could realize it the sun was already rising. I decide to go shower and get all the mud off of me before heading to training. When I get back to the dorm, everyone was still asleep. I look at the clock and see that it was only 5:45.  I then walk over to my bag and grab a pair of khaki camo printed shorts and a tight black long sleeve. I walk to the bathroom and see it is completely clean, HOW?! I then realize that means that none of them have used it yet! I resist the urge to puke and just start the warm water. I take off my dirty clothes and put them in the hamper before getting in the soothing shower. After showering then drying off I got dressed and blow dried my hair before brushing it into two buns atop my head. I then put on my mask and step out of the bathroom. It was now 6:30, the guys will wake up in 15 minutes. So, I decide to quickly go to my bunk and put on my socks and my boots before quietly making my way out of the dorm. I had also managed to grab my backpack on my way out. I decide to then walk to the obstacle course, where we will training today. Since I arrived early, I sat down in the grass and pulled out my sketchbook to draw for a bit.

After some time, everyone finally arrived. I put my stuff back in my backpack and get up. I walk over to everyone, the group that attempted to mess with me last night all looked shocked that I was there. I smirk underneath my mask and go stand at the end of the line, next to Reap.  "I thought you ran away." He whispers to me. I decide to keep to my previous pact and keep my mouth shut. Reap looks at me and I swear he look worried for a second before he turned cold again. He returned to his original stance, but not without glancing at my bandaged hands.

When Captain arrived he inspected everyone, making sure we all had been ready for training. When he arrived at me, he looked disappointed when he noticed my hands. He didn't say anything because he already knew what my injury was from. "You ok?" He whispers in my ear. I simply nod my head in response. He lets out a sigh and stand in front of the line, to yell out orders. "You all will line up at the beginning of this course and then you will all race to the end. No cutting or cheating of any sorts. First one to finish can call home. Now, go line up."   We all obey orders and line up at the beginning. "3...2...1...GO!" Captain yell, and we all start running toward the rope wall. I get a high jump 1/3 of the way up the wall, before my injuries start hurting and I fall to the ground. I shake it off and look ahead and realize I was behind. I then make up my mind. I am not losing. I ignore the pain and make my way up the rope wall and across the bars, passing 6 of the guys. They all seemed shocked. I next had to pass Reap, Buck, and Axel to be in front. I catch up to Axel and pass him, while running through the tires. Buck had really broad shoulders, proving it difficult for him to go underneath the barbwire. Once I easily passed Buck, I only had to pass Reap now. Using my short height to my advantage, I start to sprint through the cones. I had finally caught up to Reap and I looked at his expression, he looked cam until he realized I was caught up to him. I put two fingers to my forehead and salute him before sprinting straight past him. Being short means I am more aerodynamic. I finished the obstacles in first, Reap second, Buck third, the rest of them falling behind us. "Good job C.C.P.  , you broke the last recorded record. Impressive!" Captain congratulated me. I shrug my shoulder and wipe the sweat off my forehead. I walk over to my pack and pick it up then walk to the dinning hall. I see my dad was waiting outside the hall. I had already changed into a mint green skater skirt that was in my bag. I had also took off my mask. My dad gave me a smile and hugged me. We got breakfast and sat at our own private table. 

Once we were finished dad had to go train his recruits and I had the day off till tonight. When I got back to the dorm I see that everyone was wearing normal clothes. Reap told me that they were all going off base and that I was welcome to join. I decided to join them. I changed into my converse and I put on my solid black mask. When we were all ready, we all split into two groups and decided to meet up at a local mall. Buck and his friends went in one car and Reap drove the second car that I was thankfully in. 

I had thought that it would have been fine being in the car with Reap...
