I spent a week walking along edges of the island, observing every possible escape. I had also been practicing some new spells that might come in handy. The beaches seemed to beckon me towards them, for the sand and ocean were covered in warm sunlight, while the forest was always dark and cool.
In my mind, it was my last day in Neverland. Jay and I spent it together as if we had more to come. He had no idea I planned to leave.
I decided leaving during the day was safest since I spent the night in the tree house surrounded by lost boys. I was still terrified, no matter the circumstances. What if Hook wasn't there? What if I was caught? What would Pan do when he finds out? The questions wouldn't stop swimming through my mind.
I had packed a small satchel containing a little food and a tiger Lily I put a preservation spell on. At first light I was walking through the silent areas of the forest, which were clear of lost boys at this time of day. Soon I reached the edge and the golden sands of the beach were just a step of bravery away. This was it. With the jolly Roger in swimming distance, I stepped into the sunlight. My feet were covered in sand as I ran towards the water. I was only a few feet from the ocean's waves when an arrow whizzed past me. I turned to see 4 lost boys behind me. When I faced forward again, pan was standing there and before I could use my magic, the cuff was on my arm.
The rest was a blur to me. I remember struggling to be free from the grasp of two lost boys and failing. I was yelling for someone. I was beat down to my knees and kicked a few times and then I passed out.

When I opened my eyes, Everything was dark.  My hands were each tied to one of the spindly trees above my head. I could see a figure emerging from the black fog. "Welcome to the dark hollow, the darkest part of the island," said pan, his voice echoing through the darkness. "W-Why am I here?" I stuttered. I tried to look up, but I was sore and bruised. "Well, you broke the rules. That's no very fair, is it," he said venomously,"so now it's my turn to play."
He left after that, leaving me mostly alone. I began to see a figure flying around. A shadow. It would taunt and tease as it whirled around me. I closed my eyes and blocked it out. I never knew if it was night or day. I couldn't rest or sleep. It been a few days and I was weak from lack of food and rest. The shadow stood in front of me and I feared the worst. Suddenly an unimaginable pain shot through my body, but I couldn't move away. Everything went black.
