Matt x Self Conscious!Reader - Appearance

You were in your room again. You were fixing your hair for the 5th time. You hated what people thought of you. You always wanted people to think you look fine. Whatever you do, say, wear, or act. It needs to be good. You heard a knock at your door. You start to panic. you weren't finished. So your let your hair droop, hoping they won't care. Of course they would. You walk towards your door. Fixing your shirt, trying to make sure there was not a lot of wrinkles.

''Hello!'' Matt said. ''O-Oh, Hey M-Matt.'' You said, stuttering. 'Oh crap I stuttered. He must think I'm weird now.' 

'' Me and Edd are going to the Mall, and we thought you might want to join.'' He blushed a little bit. 'Wait. He's blushing. Wait. MALL?!?!? THE MALL IS FULL OF PEOPLE. Full of judging, but. I could use another hoodie.' 

''Sure, I-I need another hoodie a-anyway.'' ''Okay! Come down when you're ready!'' He ran off. You looked at your current one. It was a light orange color. Maybe they have on in your favorite color.

You finished your hair, you just had it in a ponytail. (if you have short hair, just do something.) You put on your hoodie. It had a stain on it. Time for people to judge you. You tied the laces on your shoes and went out.

You flipped through the sections of hoodies. But your could not find your favorite color. You saw another orange hoodie. But that one was a tad bit darker. You remember one time Matt said that orange looked good at you. You blushed at that memory. ''Did you find a good hoodie, (Y/N)?'' Matt sneaked up on you. You flinched. ''I um....yeah, i guess. They did not have a/an (F/C) hoodie, but I found this dark orange one.'' He smiled. ''Well, I think it'll look good on you.'' He blushed. 

Matt was not really afraid to give you compliments. ''Oh....I, Um.....Thanks.'' You walked up to the counter and purchased it. You held onto it. ''Um....Wh-where is Edd?'' Matt blinked. ''Oh, He's looking for Cola, and he can't find any.'' You hummed. ''Well.......i'm gonna g-go look for him.'' And with that you trailed off to find Edd.

Matt looked at the ground. He just wanted to spend some time alone with you. He thought about you for a second. Orange was a good color on you.

You saw Edd carrying bags. You waved at him once he saw you. He ran up to you. ''Hey (Y/N).'' You wondered if your hair was messy. Maybe people were judging you. Maybe this was a bad idea. ''(Y/N)'' You snapped out of your thoughts. ''Yeah?'' Edd looked at your bag. ''What'cha got there?'' You pulled the hoodie out. ''Oh, cool.'' Edd said. He sounded sarcastic. He hates it. Shut up mind. You noticed that there were ears on the top. Bear ears. ''Oh, there are bear ears on it, Didn't notice.''

Edd make a devilish smirk. ''Maybe the hoodie could not bear you not noticing.'' You looked up at him. It took you a while to get the joke. You chuckled. ''G-good one.'' You looked at it again. 

''Hi.'' Matt said as he held a bag. It was a gift bag? ''Hey Matt, I was looking for you, what'cha got there?'' Edd stated. You were a bit curious as well. Matt's face turned red. ''Nothing j-just m-m-mirrors.'' He gave a weak smile. ''Right.'' Edd looked at him suspiciously. ''Everyone ready to go?'' You nodded you head. ''ALRIGHT, LET'S GO!''

''Aww.......it has a bear on it.'' You were talking to your internet friend, Cami. (Sorry if your name is Cami.)

''Y-Yeah.'' You took it off and neatly folded it on your bed. You sighed. ''My other one had a few stains on it'' You didn't stutter around Cami, mostly because she couldn't really judge you over the internet. Well, she could but........at the same time no. So you accepted her.

You heard a knock on your door and some one running away. This arose many questions. ''Hey Cami, i'm gonna put the call on hold.'' ''Mkay.'' You paused the call and opened the door. No- body was there. Huh. You looked down at the ground and there was a shiny, orange gift bag.

It looks identical to the one Matt bought. You picked it up and walked into your room and shut the door. You looked inside of it. There WAS a mirror. You took it out. But there was a note attached to it. Sometimes you need to grab a mirror, look it it. If you don't see beauty, stare in it a little longer. I want you to see what I see. -Matt.

You blushed a medium red. You were freaking out a little bit. You looked inside the bag to see if there was anything else, and there was not, but you put the gift bag beside your laptop. You resumed the call, but turned off your webcam

He messed up. Big time. Matt knew you were self conscious. God he probably made it worse. You were never gonna talk to him again. He shoved his face in his pillow. He really wanted to cry right now. knock knock

Knocking was heard at his door. He panicked a little bit. ''I um......who's there?'' His heart sank and stomach dropped. ''Matt, it's m-me.'' You. He gulped and got up. He shakily grabbed the door knob. He twisted it and opened it. You gave him a sweet smile. ''H-h-h-hi.'' He was sweating a little bit and he was looking nervously to the side.

You wrapped your arms around him. You looked down on you. You picked you up and held you tight. You chuckled. You landed a kiss on his forehead. His face flushed red. ''Thank you Matt, you raised my self esteem a little bit.'' He looked at you and smiled. ''I knew I could do it!'' He kissed your cheek. ''I love you, (Y/N).'' 

Your face turned red at his words. ''I l-love you too M-Matt.''

(Mwahahaha. Eh. That sucked, I know, but they will get better in the future, so yeh. I'm gonna finish my stuffs then i will gladly open requests. Byee)
