Harry Potter spoilers ahead, you've been warned. but honestly if you haven't already read/seen/been spoiled for HP at this point.... I don't know how to help you

It was a long, long week at work for the entire BAU team, but Spencer especially. The case has drained him almost down to nothing, and he's more than eager to crash into bed and lay with you by his side. He's tired of unsubs and murder and gore. Walking up the stairs to your shared apartment with heavy steps, he's already reveling in how nice it'll be to be held in your arms and hear your voice whispering to him. So when he can hear your yelling before he's even opened the door, imagine his surprise.

Spencer hastily unlocks the door, a rush of adrenaline coursing through his tired body. He bursts into the apartment, but stops short one step in. Understanding hits him smack in the face, and he actually has to stifle a laugh.

"That's right! Kill him, do it!" you shout at the tiny tv, and Spencer catches a glimpse of your pumping fist pop up above the back of the couch. A grayish green glow emanates from the screen, Voldemort walking into frame.

"You've been a good and faithful servant, Severus. But only I can live forever," Voldemort's voice rings out over your groans, the volume up way too high. Spencer still stands frozen in the doorway, and he's fairly certain he's been unnoticed by you. It's confirmed when you start muttering at the screen again.

"Good? That's one hell of a word to describe that asshole. Even coming from you, Voldemort," you retort, and he can hear you shift around on the couch, presumably leaning forward to watch more closely. Snape mutters out a quick My lord but it's basically inaudible between your wild cheering and the climatic music. The only reason Spencer knows the line is because he's watched this movie with you countless times.

"Yeah, bitch! Take that, you immature obsessive piece of shit!" you whoop happily, and Spencer can't hold in his laugh any longer. At the sound, you instantly pause the tv and whip around to see your boyfriend. You know you should be embarrassed since he's laughing so hard, but you can't bring yourself to be ashamed. It's not like he hasn't experienced your distaste for Snape before, and you're so excited to see him after so long away that it doesn't really matter to you.

"You're back!" you exclaim happily, running around the couch and to wrap him up in a hug. He manages to stand up straight to meet you, holding you close and resting his chin on top of your head. He kisses your hair sweetly, taking in the scent and warmth of you right next to him. You smile softly and enjoy the same feeling, burying your head deeper into his chest.

You two stay put for a minute, content to be experiencing the physical contact you each craved over the long absence. When Spence finally pulls away, he's chuckling and gesturing (calmly, unlike you) to the tv screen.

"Having fun, I see?" he asks jokingly, and you roll your eyes.

"Yes, actually, I was. Nothing more fun than watching that greasy weasel die like he should've ages ago," you answer, dead serious. Spence chuckles again, looking down at you with slight concern.

"You know, usually the people in my life that talk like that are the ones I arrest," he teases you, letting you lead him towards the couch. You simply roll your eyes again, forcing him to sit and curling up by his side.

"Shut up and watch Harry be a baby. I still think he should've been left there to die a painful and lonely death, but whatever, Harry," you mock the character before pressing play. Spencer shakes his head and wraps one arm around you, still laughing to himself as you continue to curse out Snape throughout his death. It's not exactly what he had in mind when he thought of your voice on the way home, but the cuddles are just as soothing and his smile is that much more genuine.
