(The fort) no one's POV

"Will, it's so good to see you" Elizabeth and Andromeda state as they descend the stairs together. Their father tells them that they look stunning. "We had a dream about you last night" Elizabeth tells Will.

"About me?" Will asks and Andromeda nods her head.

"Yes, well it's not entirely proper to..." Governor Swan tries to say.

"About the say we met, do you remember?" Elizabeth asks Will.

"How can I forget Miss Swann?" Will asks her.

"How many times do Elizabeth and I have to ask you to call us by our names?" Andromeda asks him.

"At least once more Miss Swann" Will tells her.

"There you see at least the boy has his priorities straight" Governor Swann tells his daughters. "Now we really must be going" he adds picking up the future Commodore's Norrington's present. Andromeda and Elizabeth link arms again as they look at Will.

"Good day Mister Turner" they say together before leaving and getting into the carriage with their father.

"Good day... Andromeda and Elizabeth" Will says when they ride away. He sighs scolding himself before walking to the market. He had a few earns to do before returning to the Black Smith shop where he left Mr Brown sleeping.

(Promotion ceremony)

Andromeda stands beside Elizabeth as they fan themselves and the ceremony starts. Norrington walked up between two rows of soldiers to where the Governor is waiting. Governor presents him with his new sword as Elizabeth starts to fan herself harder. "Are you ok?" Andromeda asks her sister in a whisper.

"I'm fine" Elizabeth assures her with a smile. When the ceremony ends Andromeda goes over to her dad while Elizabeth speaks to her friends. James looked between the two women and decides to talk to Elizabeth first.

"May I have a moment?" he asks her and she nods her head. He leads her over to the wall where she stands on the step for more air. "Elizabeth I apologize if I seem forward, but I must speak my mind" Norrington tells her and she nods her head. "This promotion shows in sharp relief that which I have not yet achieved, a marriage to a fine woman. Your sister has become a fine woman Elizabeth" he explains.

"I can't breath" Elizabeth tells him.

"Yes, I'm a bit nervous myself which is why I am asking you for help" Norrington states not noticing she had fallen over the edge. Andromeda had come looking for her sister and sees Norrington standing alone.

"Commodore where is my sister?" she asks him.

"Andromeda" Norrington says in shock. "She's right..." he starts to say turning to where Elizabeth had been standing. Then looks over the edge to see the water settling and Elizabeth's hat  floating on the surface. "Elizabeth!" he shouts and Andromeda runs over as he goes to jump in after her.

"The rocks sir, it's a miracle she missed them" Gillette states as he stops Norrington from jumping. They all head for the dock quickly praying Elizabeth is ok. Meanwhile a man had jumped into the water from a nearby ship after Elizabeth. He removed her dress before swimming her to the surface and over to the pier. Where two navy soldiers that had been guarding the ship pull Elizabeth onto the dock.

"Not breathing" one of them states.

"Move" the man demands taking out a knife and cuts her corset off. She gasps and coughs up some water. "Clearly you've never been to Singapore" the man states when one the guards said he'd never thought of that. "Where did you get that?" he asks the woman noticing the pirate medallion around her neck.

"Elizabeth!" Andromeda shouts when she reaches the dock and runs over. While Norrington points his new sword at the man's throat. Governor Swann removes his coat draping it over Elizabeth's shoulders. "Are you alright?" Andromeda asks Elizabeth with their father.

"I'm fine" Elizabeth assures them as she hides the necklace. "Commodore, do you really intend to kill my rescuer?" Elizabeth asks him. Norrington looks at her and sieves his sword before holding a hand out to the man.

"I believe thanks in order" he states and grabs the man's hand pulling up his sleeve to reveal a 'P'. "Had a run in with the East India Trading Company? Did we pirate?" he asks.

"Hang him" the Governor orders.

"Keep your guns on him men, Gillette fetch some irons" Norrington orders as he pushes the sleeve up more to reveal a tattoo of a sparrow. "Well, well Jack Sparrow isn't it?" he asks letting go of the guys arm.

"Captain Jack Sparrow, if you please" Jack tells him.

"Well I don't see you ship, captain" Norrington states.

"I'm in the market as it were" Jack tells him.

"He said he came to commandeer one" one the guards states.

"Told you he was tell the truth" the other one tells him. "These are his sir" he adds holding up Jack's effects.

"No additional shot nor powder, a compass the doesn't point north and I have expected it to be made of wood" Norrington states as he looks through the supplies. "You are without a doubt the worst pirate I've ever heard of" he tells Jack.

"But you have heard of me" Jack states and Norrington pulls him over to Gillette who had returned with some irons.

"Commodore I really must protest" Elizabeth says as she and Andromeda follow him.

"I agree, pirate or not this man saved my sister's life" I remind him.

"One good deed does not redeem a man of a life time of sin, Andromeda" Norrington tells her.

"Though it seems enough to condemn him" Jack adds.

"Indeed" Norrington agrees as Gillette finishes putting the irons on Jack.

"Finally" Jack says and wraps the chain around Andromeda's neck pulling her in front of him.

"No don't shoot" Governor Swann tells the soldiers.

"I knew you'd warm up to me, Commodore Norrington my effects please and my hat" Jack demands. "Commodore" he adds and the guard gives Jack's effects to James. "Andromeda, it is Andromeda isn't it?" he asks the woman he was holding hostage.

"It's Miss Swann" she tells him sternly.

"Miss Swann if you please, come on luv we don't have all day" Jack tells her. Norrington gave her Jack's effects and Jack turns her around to face him putting a pistol to her head. She puts his hat on him first then his belt that has his sword and compass attached to it. But in doing so she had to wrap her arms around his back as he smirks at the Commodore. "Easy on the goods deary" he tells her.

"You're despicable" Andromeda sneers.

"Sticks and stones luv, I save your sister's life you save mine. We're square" Jack tells her before turning her back around. "Gentlemen, miladies this is the day you'll always remember as the day you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow" he states and shoves her into the Commodore before grabbing a rope and kicking something.

"Now will you shoot him?" the Governor asks as he holds Elizabeth.

"Open fire!" Commodore Norrington orders as he still holds Andromeda close. "After him men, Gillette Sparrow has dawn appointment to the gallows. I'd hate for him to miss it" he states. "Are you ok Andromeda?" he asks her.

"I'm fine thank you for catching me Commodore" she tells him. James smiles and passes her to her father. Who takes her and Elizabeth back to their carriage before heading back to the manor.Andromeda and Elizabeth both think about the pirate they had just encountered.
