Stow Away

Andromeda's POV

I woke up with a headache and remember what happened last night. I run to my room and change into my villager clothes. Before going out to see what damaged had been done. I saw Will storming away from the fort. I know Commodore Norrington would be going out to find Elizabeth with the Interceptor or Dauntless. No way I was letting him go after my little sister without me.

So I snuck down to the docks that are unguarded and board the Interceptor. I hide in the cargo hold that had already been filled with supplies. I lean against the wall feeling tired and decide to close my eyes for a bit.

"My father was not a pirate!" I woke up to someone screaming. I stand up and run up onto the deck to see Will hanging on a beam over the water. With that pirate at the helm looking at him.

"Let him down immediately!" I yell at the pirate.

"What are you doing here?" he asks me.

"Andromeda stay away from him!" Will shouts at me.

"Just hold on Will" I tell him as I ascend to the helm. "Let him go Sparrow" I order.

"Just one sec luv" he tells me and I glare at his back when he turns to face Will again. "Now as long as you're just hanging there, pay attention. The only rules that really matter are these: What a man can do and what a man can't do. For instance, you can accept that your father was a pirate and a good man, or you can't. Pirate is in your blood, boy, so you'll have to square with that someday" he tells Will.

"Now me, for example. I can let you drown. But I can't bring this ship into Tortuga all by me onesy, savvy? Or with Miss Swann here" he adds pointing to me. "So...Can you sail under the command of a pirate? Or can you not?" he asks after swinging Will back on board the ship.

"Tortuga?" Will asks him.

"Tortuga" Jack agrees nodding his head.

"What are you doing on this ship? Where's the navy? Why aren't we saving my sister?" I demand.

"We are saving Elizabeth Andromeda and we commandeered this ship" Will explains. "But we need a crew to do that" he adds. "How are you here?" he asks me.

"I stowed away, no way I was leaving my sister's life in the hand of the royal Navy. Or in the hands of a drunken pirate" I snap glaring at Sparrow.

"I don't like stowaways on my ship" Jack states.

"It isn't your ship! You stole it" I snap.

"We can't send her back now and we won't leave her in Tortuga, she'll just have to come with" Will states. Jack grumbles under his breath, but agrees before going back to the helm. "Just stay close to me Andromeda and you'll be fine" Will assures me.

"It's not me I'm worried about" I tell him. "Can you teach me to fight?" I ask him and he nods his head. Will goes back to sharpening his sword and I went to explore the ship. I find the captain's cabin and smile.

"Found a room luv?" Jack asks from behind me.

"Yep and stay out of it" I tell him pushing him out of the room. Before slamming the door in his face and locking it. He banged on the door saying how he is captain and that this cabin belongs to him. I just ignored him and explore my new cabin. I find the keys for it and leave locking the door behind me before hiding the key.

"So when will we reach Tortuga?" I ask Will.

"Jack we should reach it at nightfall" Will states. "What did you do to make Jack so upset?" he asks.

"I claimed the captain's cabin as my cabin" I say shrugging.

"Bet he didn't like that" Will says with a chuckle. "Here, this should suit you" he states handing me a sword. "Let's practice shall we" he suggests and I nod my head. He shows me a few simple moves before we had practice sparing match. I know he is going easy on me, but I don't mind as long as it'll help me save my little sister.
