Curse Broken

Andromeda's POV

None of us (Elizabeth, Jack and I) told anyone about the curse. Knowing James would never try to save Will if he knew. Right now I am in our father's cabin brushing my hair. When I heard my sister yelling "No... Wait... Stop! The pirates are undead! They'll all be killed!"

"Don't worry, Miss, he's already been informed of that, a little mermaid flopped up on deck and told him the whole story!" Gillette laughs shutting and locking the double doors.

"This is Jack Sparrow's doing" Elizabeth says banging on the door.

"What's Sparrow done now?" I ask her.

"He's taken James and the majority of soldiers in the long boats to shore. To attack Barbossa and his crew" she states.

"Damn it, we have to stop them" I state standing up putting the brush down. "Help me tie the sheets together" I tell her as I open the window. I just tied the end of the sheets to a bed post when there was a knock at the door.

"Andromeda, I wanted to tell you how proud I am of your decision" father says from the other side of the door. I see him sitting on a chair outside the door and the guard gone.

"Go, I'll distract him" I tell Elizabeth in a whisper and she nods her head. She chucks the other end of the sheets out the open window.

"But even a good decision made for the wrong  reason, can be a wrong decision" dad states.

"I know father, but it was not made for the wrong reason" I tell him. "Please keep your voice down, Elizabeth is sleeping" I lie.

"Of course" he says in a quieter voice. "But do you love the commodore Andromeda?" he asks.

"I care for him very much and know I can love him" I assure him. "Father I may sleep as well, a lot has happened the last few days" I tell him.

"Of course, I'll just sit here and wait for Elizabeth to wake" he tells me. I sneak over to the window and climb up to the deck. I look out to see Elizabeth had reached the Black Pearl and smile. I sit down leaning against the wall thinking of my future after today.

I know I can grow to love James dearly. But for some reason I still have trouble seeing a long term future with him. Suddenly I heard fighting on deck and stand grabbing my sword. I see a soldier ringing the bell and about to be stab. I shoot the pirate in the head and run over to the soldier. "No laying down on the job" I tell him as I help him stand. We then both join the fight.

James and the other soldiers soon appear to help with the fight. "What took you so long James?" I ask. "Watch out!" I say throwing a dagger at an oncoming pirate. "Thank me some other time, we have a fight to win" I tell James and start attacking the two pirates that abducted Elizabeth & I in the beginning of this crazy journey.

I somehow end up on the helm beside James when the pirates turn human again. But the moon was still out. "The ship is ours gentlemen and lady" James declares as the pirates surrender.

"Lock these traitorous pirates in the brig" I tell the soldiers. They follow my order knowing I am engaged to James. Even though I have no ring yet.

"Where did you learn to fight?" James asks me.

"Will and pirates" I say shrugging. "I guess we return home now" I add looking out at the sea. "Looks like the Pearl's is gone, but Will and Elizabeth caught Sparrow" I state.

"Good, he can finally hang for his crimes" James states standing be side me. "Then we can focus on our wedding" he adds smiling.

"Yes" I say nodding my head as the other reach the ship. Jack is taken to the brig as dad hugs Elizabeth and I. Will was given a full burden for his pirate acts. We set sail for Port Royal immediately.  This time I really do go to sleep in a different room from before.

Picture above of the pirates no longer being cursed. One chapter left and then Curse of the Black Pearl ends. But not this story.
