Night Raid

Andromeda's POV

"There you go miss" Estelle tells Elizabeth as she and Hope place bed warmers under mine & Elizabeth's mattresses. Elizabeth and I were both reading our books. Well I was actually writing in my journal.

"A difficult day for you both I'm sure" Hope adds.

"Yes I didn't expect my little sister would nearly die" I tell them as Elizabeth said something about James asking her for permission to marry me. "What?" I ask her confused.

"I was talking about you being threatened by that pirate" Hope states. "It must have been terrifying" she adds.

"Not as terrifying as would be if he was threatening Elizabeth" I tell her.

"But the Commodore ask your sister for your hand" Estelle says with a smile. "Now that's a smart match miss, if it isn't to bold of me to say" she states.

"It is a smart much" I say with a sigh.

"He's a fine man, he's what any women should dream of marrying" Elizabeth adds closing her book.

"Then why don't you marry him" I tease her and she glares at me, before we laugh quietly along with the maids.

"What about that Will Turner?" Hope asks.

"He's a fine man too" Estelle adds.

"That is to bold" Elizabeth and I tell them. Both of them apologized before wishing us goodnight and leaving. Elizabeth and I wish each other goodnight before falling asleep.

(Later that same night) still Andromeda's POV

Elizabeth and I woke to the sound of cannon fire. "What is happening Andromeda?" Elizabeth asks me as I go to look out our window.

"Pirates, we must get to the fort" I tell her and we grab our robes before leaving the room. "No don't!" I shout when I see the butler go to open the front door. He didn't listen and got shoot in the head while Elizabeth screamed. I grabbed her hand and drag her back to our room where we encounter Estelle.

"They've come to kidnap you both" she states.

"What?" Elizabeth asks her.

"You're the governor's daughters" Estelle reminds her.

"They haven't seen you yet, hide and the first chance you get run to the fort" Elizabeth orders her. I grab my bed warmer and stand by the door. When a fat pirate enters the room I whack him in the head with it. Then go to hit the second pirate who catches the pole of the warmer. I pull the trigger releasing hot coals on top of him.

"Run Elizabeth Estelle" I order grabbing Elizabeth's hand and follow Estelle out of the room. When we reach the bottom of the stairs one of the pirates from before lands in front of me. Keeping Elizabeth behind me I analyze the situation for a way up. Suddenly a cannon ball flew through the room and I took the moment dragging Elizabeth to the a small dining room while the pirate was distracted.

I grab a candle holder as Elizabeth shuts the door and jam it between the two handles. Elizabeth I then hide in a cupboard together when we failed to remove the swords from the wall decoration. "Shh" I tell her gently as I hold her close to me.

"We're know your here poppets" one of the pirates states. "Come out, we promise we won't hurt you" the same one assures us. Unlikely I thought to myself. "The gold calls to us" he states and I see Elizabeth playing with the pirate medallion. I go to take it from her when the door opens.

"Parley I invoke the right of parley" Elizabeth tells the pair.

"The code of the Brethren demands you must take her to your captain" I state. Which I hate, no way they were taking my little sister.

"I know the code" the slightly over weight balding pirate states.

"You can do me no harm until the parley is complete" Elizabeth states.

"To blazes with the code" the thin one with the wooden eye sneers.

"She want's to be taken to the captain" the other one snaps. "And she'll go without a fuss, we must honour the code" he states. "Knock the other one out" he orders as he grabs Elizabeth's arm.

"No, leave her alone!" I shout and go to attack him when the other hits me in the head with the butt of his pistol. I fall the ground with black spots entering my vision as Elizabeth screams my name. "I'll find you" I promise her before I black out completely. The last thing I saw were the two pirates leading her away.
