Sisterly Reunion

Andromeda's POV

"So what's on the agenda today?" I ask James as we have breakfast together. We'd been on the Dutchman nearly two weeks. I go see Bootstrap Bill twice a day to feed him. I talk to Greg every other day.

"We're hunting down the Empress" he states.

"Sao Feng's flag ship" I muse as I take a sip of water.

"Anything you can tell me about him?" he asks me.

"He's the pirate lord of Singapore, no doubt on his way to Shipwreck Cove" I state.

"Anyway, how are you feeling? I heard you were sick last night" he says concerned.

"I'm sure it's nothing" I assure him.

"You know as well as I, it might not be nothing" he tells me.

"We check when we have Sao Feng and his crew in custody" I assure him.

"Good, we should reach them tonight. So feel free to do whatever, I have rounds to do until lunch" he tells me. I nod my head and we share a kiss before he leaves. I clean up and then strap my sword to my waist. I go to the main deck and look around at the crew working together with the EITC soldiers. Though I can tell neither company is thrilled by it.

"Andromeda, how are you this morning?" Greg asks me.

"I'm good, though I was sick last night" I tell him. "But I'm feeling better now" I state.

"Maybe you should take it easy today? I can feed Bootstrap" he suggests.

"No, I can do it. You focus on your work" I tell him.

"Ok, but I'm here if you need me" he tells me and goes back to work. I go about my usual day. Going to feed Bootstrap his breakfast and talk to him about Will.  Exchanging stories about him, Jack and the Pearl. Before I left to go have lunch with James. Then did some practice with my sword.

As the sun sets some yells "Ship ho!" Davy Jones look through his telescope and says it was the Empress. We catch up and a fight breaks out. But we win because of our numbers and the crew is restrained. Just then a man and woman some out of the Captain's cabin. The woman is my sister Elizabeth.

"You are not my captain" I hear the man sneer.

"Elizabeth" James and I say in shock.

"Andromeda, James!" she exclaims and rushes over hugging me.

"I've missed you so much" I tell her.

"Thank God you're alive! Your father will be overjoyed to know you're safe" James tells her.

"He will" I say nodding my head in agreement smiling at my sister

"Our father is dead" she tells me and I freeze. No, that can't be true. James told me that Beckett said he had returned to London.

"No, that can't be true, he returned to England" James tells her.

"Did Lord Beckett tell you that?" she asks him.

"Who among you do you name as captain?" Davy Jones asks ruining our sisterly reunion.

"Captain? Her!" says the man who not even two minutes ago said she wasn't his captain. The crew all agree pointing to her. Davy Jones walks over to us.

"Tow the ship, put the prisoners in the brig. The captain shall have my quarters with my wife" James tells him.

"Thank you sir, but I'd prefer to remain with my crew" Elizabeth tells him.

"Elizabeth I didn't know about father" I tell her as tears fill my eyes.

"I'm sorry Andy, take care of her" she tells James.

"Elizabeth, I swear I didn't know..." James starts to say.

"What? Which side you made my sister choose with your choice?" she asks him. She joins her crew and looks at him. "Now you do" she states and they are escorted to the brig.

(Later that night)

I'm standing at the back of the ship in the shadows next to the lines that connect the Empress to the Flying Dutchman. James had gone to release Elizabeth and her crew. We're leave this ship and are going to kill Beckett. Well I am.

Soon Elizabeth's crew appears. "Go across the ropes, prepare to set sail. Elizabeth will follow once you are all off of the ship" I tell them. They nod their heads and start to cross it.

"Do not go to Shipwreck Cove. Beckett knows of the meeting of the Brethren. I fear there may be a traitor among them" I hear James say as he appears with Elizabeth.

"It's to late to earn my forgiveness" she tells him.

"He had nothing to do with our father's death" I tell her.

"That doesn't absolve me of my other sins" James tells me as he hugs me.

"Come with us, come with us Andromeda and James" she tells us.

"We will, go first" I tell her and she starts to cross. "You are coming right?" I ask James.

"Who goes there?!" I hear Bootstrap call from above. James draws his sword pushing me behind him.

"Go with Elizabeth, I will follow" he tells me. Not looking me in the eye.

"You're lying" I say.

"I love you Andromeda. Please go" he says and kisses me passionately. I nod my head and start to cross the ropes behind Elizabeth.

"All hands Prisoner Escape!" I hear Bootstrap shout and I look back.

"Belay that!" James shouts. He then looks at me and shots the line. I fall into the water with Elizabeth and several of her crew members.

I surface to see James fall to the ground. "James! No!" I wail as Elizabeth drags me towards the Empress. We're pulled aboard and make a quick escape.

"I'm so sorry Andy" Elizabeth says as she hugs me tightly. I sob into her just. "Tai Haung, you're in charge. Set sail for Shipwreck Cove, boost haste" she tells him. Then leads me to the Captain's cabin, which is trashed. She lays me on the bed. "Rest, I will wake you when we reach Shipwreck Cove" she tells me. She then stays until I cry myself to sleep.
