Andromeda's POV
"Well everybody, we got very special friend to meet now. Her name is Andromeda Swann. Hi, Andromeda" the barman says smiling at me. I smile back happy to be on land again. I've been away from home for a year, with no contact with anyone. I meet a few pirates here and there. Captain Soa Feng took me under his wing and taught me how to be a pirate. Now I'm in Tortuga about to perform with my pirate crew.
Yes my pirate crew. We're a very new crew, only a month old. But we all love to perform and that's how we steal. However, tonight is just a performance no stealing. "Hello John and everyone" I say smiling.
"I hear you have a surprise for us tonight" he says smirking.
"That's right, my crew and I are going to perform. My first mate and quarter master will sing with me. Now this is a song about how I became a buccaneer" I announce and the crowd cheers. "I'd just set sail thinking I could do anything any pirate can. But a week into my voyage, and my boat sprung a leak. I spent six month trying to keep it afloat when I was found by one of the pirate lords. But that is another song" I tell them smiling.
John goes back behind the bar as I start to sing. "Ahoy there me hearties. Come for a trip with me, Captain Swan, on my pirate ship. Whoah ho ho, but look out – its leaking" I state.
"When the captain was a young girl. She wanted to sail around the world" Greg and Tim sing. Both playing a guitar each. (Greg my first mate and Tim my quarter master).
"That's the life for me, whoah ho. Living on the sea. Whoah ho ho ho" I sing.
"The spirit of a sailor, sailing all around the globe" Greg and Leo sing. As the rest of the crew begin to dance.
"Round and round. I'm a buccaneer. Whoah ho I'll acknowledge no frontier. Ho ho ho ho" I laugh as I dance.
"I remember you by, thunderclap in the sky. Lightening flash, tempers flare. 'Round Cape Horn if you dare. I just spent six months in a leaky boat" Greg and Leo sing as the others clap. "Lucky just to keep afloat" they sing and the crew clap again.
"La da da da ahh dad a do do do-doh" we sing.
"Aoteroa. Rugged individual. Glisten like a pearl" they sing.
"Oh so shiny, Whoah ho" I sing giggling.
"At the bottom of the world" they sing.
"Oh, down under. Yeah" I say smiling.
"The tyranny of distance" they sing
"Such a long way" I tell them.
"Didn't stop the buccaneer" they tell me smiling
"So why should it stop me? Whoah ho. I'm sailing to be free" I sing.
"Ah c'mon all you lads. Let's forget and forgive. There's a world to explore" they sing.
"Let's go exploring" I tell the others and we continue on dancing.
"Tales to tell back on shore. I just spent six months in a leaky boat" they sing.
"Whoah ho" I say.
"Six months in a leaky boat" they repeat.
"Whoah ho ho" I repeat back.
"La da da da ahh dad a do do do-doh" they sing.
"Come on now me hearties. Let's do a pirate dance" I tell the crew. They form two lines behind me as I lead. "Yo ho ho. Who ho ho. Oh, bend your knees now. That's right. Whoah ho ho. Now you're really dancing Ho ho ho ho. Oh well done me hearties" I praise.
"Ah c'mon all you lads. Let's forget and forgive. There's a world to explore" Greg and Tim sing.
"Oh lets explore" I tell the others.
"Tales to tell back on shore. I just spent six months in a leaky boat" they sing.
"Whoah ho" I say.
"Nothing to it, leaky boat" Greg and Tim sing.
"Oh no" I say.
"La da da da ahh dad a do do do-doh" we all finish. We bow as the crowd cheers. "Drink on me" I tell the crew and they cheer. I was chilling watching my crew have fun when Greg whispers in my ear.
"Someone asking for you captain" he states.
"Keep the others in check and see that you all return to the ship safely" I tell him. He nods his and I go outside. "Will!" I cheer launching myself into his arms. "What are you doing here? Where's Elizabeth? How are everyone?" I ask.
"Things haven't been the same since you left Andromeda" he states. Then explains what has happened this last year. How James went after Jack and was caught in a hurricane. Lost his entire crew and resigned. Will and Elizabeth were about to marry when Cutler Beckett appeared arresting them.
"Appears I've missed a lot" I say gloomily. "So why are you here now? And not in jail?" I ask him.
"He let me go, saying that if I bring him Jack's compass. He'd let Elizabeth and I go. And drop the charges on you" he explains.
"What charges? I did nothing to help you that day" I say frowning.
"You convinced James to let Jack go" he states. "Have you seen or heard any mention of Jack? I've asked, but no else has heard from him in a month. Giselle gave me a slap saying to give it to him" he explains and I giggle.
"I heard he was in Singapore, my crew and I could take you there" I tell him. "But we can't leave until morning. I promise to help you find Jack" I assure him. We head back to my ship, which is slightly smaller then the Black Pearl. "I have a spare hammock in my cabin, feel free to sleep. I need to plot the quickest course to Singapore" I tell him. Will nods his head and goes to sleep. As I start to plot the course.
