Saving Elizabeth

Andromeda's POV

"What code is Gibbs to keep if the worse should happen?" Will asks Jack. I was at the front of the boat holding the lantern. While Jack rows the boat and Will was in the rear of it.

"The pirates code" Jack states.

"Anyone who falls behind is left behind" I explain and Jack nods his head.

"No heros among thieves" Will mumbles

"You know for having such a belch out look on pirate life, you are will on your way to becoming one" Jack tells Will. "Sprung a man from jail, commandeered a ship, sailed with a buccaneer crew out of Tortuga and are completely obsessed with treasure" he explains. I look to see Will looking over the side of the boat into the water where there was treasure. We pulled onto shore and I got out of the boat first.

"That's not true, I'm not obsessed with treasure" Will tells Jack as they get out of the boat.

"Not all treasure is silver and gold mate" Jack tells him looking at me with a strange look. We hide behind a cluster of rocks as the captain starts his speech. I see Elizabeth and sigh in relief knowing she was unharmed. Until Barbossa said something about her blood needing to be paid. That set Will and I off as we went to step forward.

"We wait for the opportune moment" he tells us.

"When's that?" I ask him annoyed.

"When it'll most profit to you?" Will adds.

"Have I ever given you a reason not to trust me?" Jack asks us. I give the 'are you stupid look?' and Will glares at him. "Can you do something for me? Stay here and try not to do anything stupid" he tells us before walking closer to the pirates.

"Will" I say picking up an oar and he smiles taking it from me. He whacks Jack over the head with it, knocking him out.

"I'm not going to be your leverage Jack" Will mutters before grabbing my hand. We enter the water slowly and make our way towards Elizabeth. When reach her Will places a hand over her mouth and I grab the pirate medallion. Together the three of us head back to the boats and gather all the oars. Before rowing back the Interceptor dropping the oars along the way.

I went up first and Elizabeth follows me. "Not more pirates" she mumbles when she sees the buccaneer crew. Will appears as Gibbs welcomes Elizabeth aboard the ship. "Mister Gibbs" she says recognizing him.

"Andromeda, boy where be Jack?" Gibbs asks Will and I.

"Jack, Jack Sparrow?" Elizabeth asks.

"He fell behind" we tell him before leading Elizabeth below deck. I got a clothe and bowl of water telling Elizabeth to give me her hand. I start to clean it while Will explained how we got here. She giggled when he told her how I claimed the captain's cabin and Jack was less then pleased. Once I cleaned her wound Will wraps and ties a clean clothe around her hand.

"What kind of man trades a human life for a ship?" she asks.

"A pirate" Will states.

"This is yours" I say handing Will his pirate medallion.

"I thought I lost it the day you rescued me" he says. "Why did you take it?" he asks us.

"Because I feared you were a pirate, that would of been awful" Elizabeth states.

"It wasn't your blood they needed, it was my blood. The blood of a pirate" Will says fisting his hand around the medallion.

"Will I'm so sorry" Elizabeth says and he slams his palm onto the table.

"Come Elizabeth" I say grabbing her uninjured hand and leading her away from Will. "Just give him sometime to cool off" I tell her. "Now tell me about your stay aboard the Black Pearl" I tell her and she starts to tell me everything. Including the pirates curse and about why they need Will's blood. As the only way to lift the curse was to return the final medallion and for Turner blood to be repaid.

"So how are you here? I doubt Will invited you along" Elizabeth states. I told her how I stowed away on the ship. Also how Will had been teaching me how to use a sword and how Anamaria gave me the clothes I was wearing. I told her everything about my journey including Jack's weird looks. "Maybe he likes you" she teases.

"That's absurd" I say pushing her gently. "Besides no doubt when we return to Port Royal, I'll be engaged to James" I remind her. Just then we hear a commotion above the deck. We run up to see what was wrong with Will following us.
