Chapter 9 :

At Dumbledore's office :

Prof Dumbledore, Prof McGonagall & Prof Snape were waiting for Prof. Trelawney.

"Good morning Professor Trelawney," greeted Dumbledore as she entered the office along with her silvery crystalline ball.

"Very well, we are all very curious to know your predictions, Professor" Dumbledore gave a polite nod.

Prof Trelawney closed her eyes and placed both her hands on the crystalline ball...

Seconds passed by...

And slowly, the ball started emitting out bright blue light, silvery sparks were hovering around the ball....

Prof McGonagall & Snape looked bewildered, while Dumbledore was eyeing it very curiously.

"Her prediction has come true,
Finally the Lost Princess- a true descendant will uphold her position.
Her mystery is that she is quite when there is storm, & anxious when it is quiet,
She excels in both the world,
Her courage & strength overpowers her intelligence & curiosity.
She is pure of blood & pure of heart.
Her abilities shall gain its wings, &
on her 16th birthday, her presence shall be known"

Suddenly, Prof Trelawney got out of her trance, now all the 3 pairs of eyes were watching Prof Dumbledore, waiting for him to break the silence.

"Thank you, Prof Trelawney you can join other teachers in the great hall", Dumbledore said dismissing the divination professor.

"Professor what shall we do now ?" Prof McGonagall couldn't stand more, her curiosity was also rocketing at a jet speed. Much like Hermione's.

Dumbledore calmly said, "We must wait Minerva."

"Professor, what about the hidden object that is placed on the third floor?" Prof. Snape asked worriedly.

"Don't worry Severus, it is very well protected."

"But Professor, won't we try solving this mystery?" Prof McGonagall asked curiously.

"The true mystery is the visible and not the invisible. Nobody can solve the mystery, other than the person for whom the prediction has been made." Dumbledore stared ahead, at the portrait of the 4 founders of Hogwarts, his eyelids were fixed particularly on one portrait and her daidem.

"Many years ago, when Rowena Ravenclaw's daidem was stolen by her daughter Helena, she made a prediction about her true descendant who shall uphold her position. It is also said that she created a very unique animal for the protection of her palace but nobody has ever seen it in her palace.

The hidden object is one of the treasure made by Rowena after her daidem was stolen, only her true descendant can open it." Dumbledore said looking at her portrait. Prof McGonagall & Prof Snape were just astounded by what they heard.

This mystery was too much, and to add upon it Dumbledore wanted to give utmost protection to that hidden object. Both the Professor's didn't understand as to why Dumbledore would place a high level of security for the object and not give it to Gringots for protection.

Little did they know, Dumbledore knew that Voldemort will be coming after it.....

At the Great Hall :

As soon as the trio went to take their seats, they met with a very angry red-headed Ginny Weasely.

All three of them gulped, the fear on Harry's face could be easily seen...

"Where the hell were you guys? You left without me and to my suprise you don't even reach the great hall? Ginny literally screams at the three of them, making them flinch.

What are you hiding from me?" Ginny narrows her eyes at Harry.

"Well, I was .... I went after Hermione as she went after Ron to hex him... you heard Hermione right before heading to your room, didn't you?
I went to save Ron.., you can ask him" Harry said nervously.

"Before I ask Ronald, you tell me why do you have the Marauders Map with you?" Ginny gave one of her deadliest glare ever to the boy-who-lived. One mistake, and it would soon be the boy-who-didn't-lived.

Harry glanced towards his best friends to help him... But before he could say something, Ginny grabbed the map.

Oh hell, Harry forgot to tell Mischief Managed! He felt so dumb!

But being the brightest witch of the generation her quick presence of mind became their refuge. Before Ginny could read, Hermione snatched the map, "Ginny relax, I took the map with me to find your sod off brother Ronald, for hexing him into oblivion. Harry came behind me- to stop me, nothing more." Hermione said confidently.

And what a miracle!

Ginny Weasely was satisfied with her answer, she never thought Hermione could lie so easily, so she believed it.

Harry and Ron sighed deeply and gave Hermione a wicked smile.

Hermione smirked in response, she wasn't called the brightest witch of her age for nothing....

Just when she scanned the Map, her eyes nearly bulged out from her sockets...
