chapter two:

"SARRAH! SARRAH! TURN IT ON QUICK!" I yelled at my best friend.

she hurriedly turned on the television and flipped through several channels until she finally reached the interview.

"So boys, what are your plans while in America?" the interviewer asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity

"Well, were actually going to St.Judes hospital! Ya know, visit some kids?" Niall said, smiling ear to ear

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Sarrah and I screamed in unison.

"THEY'RE COMING! THEY'RE COMING! THEY'RE COMING!" I yelled, my eyes prickling with tears

"I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!" Sarrah yelled

"What's all the commotion?" a nurse asked, walking into my room, delivering my meal

"O-O-ONE DI-DI-RECTION!" Sarrah screamed over both of our hysterics

"OHMYGOD. WE NEED TO GET PREPARED! PHOTOS, CAMERAS, SHARPIES, DO YOU THINK LIAM WOULD SIGN MY SPOON?!" Sarrah yelled, her eyes shining with happiness

I laughed at my friend,"HOPEFULLY!"

we spent the night deciding what to wear and what to say, being crazy fangirls.

*The Next Day*

I awoke to a loud footsteps. Clack, Clack,Clack.

I slowly opened my eyes, and saw my mom standing infront of me.

"Hello Darling," my mom said, an evil twinkle in her eyes

"G-get away from me!" I yelled, scared

"oh baby," she cooed, stepping closer, "Mama's here,"

"Dont go near me. You're not my mom." I said, shrugging away from her outreached hand

"Oh yes, my my, have I forgot? YOUR MOTHER IS DEAD!" she spat in my face

"GET OUT. GET OUT! HELP! HELP!" I screamed, but no one heard me

All of a sudden, she started to yank out my IVs and disable my heart monitor.

"STOP! HELP!" I yelled in pain. But no one heard me...it was like i was invisible.

"ROSE! WAKE UP!" I heard, and I opened my eyes

I was back in my hospital bed, panting. My heart monitor was beeping out of control and my forehead was matted with sweat.

"Shh, Rose, Shhh. It was just a dream." My nurse, Elena, cooed

Tears were streaming down my face and she enveloped me in a tight hug.

Even though she's my nurse, I told her everything as if she were my mom. She was supportive and a best friend. She was there when I needed her the most.

"Wanna talk about it hun?" She asked, smoothing my hair

"M-ma-maybe l-l-later." I sniffed and tried to calm my breathing down

Elena planted a kiss on my forehead.

"I'm always here. You know that." She planted a kiss on my forehead, smiling at me

I nodded back at her weakly.

"Anyways, cheer up! One Direction is coming in t-minus 5 hours!" She yelled making me burst with joy

Maybe there was some light on this sad day.
